    Harley Reid: West Coast Eagles star clobbered by Charlie Comben to spark heated brawl at three-quarter time

    North Melbourne’s Charlie Comben is set to face Match Review scrutiny for a brawl-sparking crude hit on Harley Reid that the Eagle described as “one straight to the chin”.

    Reid was heading to celebrate a superb boundary-line goal from Elliot Yeo on the stroke of three-quarter time when he ran close to Comben.

    The Roos defender appeared to strike Reid’s neck and head area with both of his hands in a strong fend.

    It came after Comben’s initial reckless tackle on Yeo where he collared the veteran Eagle around the neck.

    Speaking after the game, Reid said he had been surprised by the hit.

    Charlie Comben’s high shot on Harley Reid sparks all-in brawl after three-quarter time siren

    North Melbourne defender Charlie Comben could be set for a stint on the sidelines after a high hit on West Coast midfielder Harley Reid.

    Comben sparked a near all-in brawl after the three-quarter time siren on Sunday when he flattened Reid with an arm to the head.

    Courting confrontation as he often does, Reid ran straight up to Comben after Elliot Yeo kicked a brilliant goal after the siren from the boundary line.

    Seeing him coming, Comben stuck his arms out and collected the face of Reid, who went down covering his eyes as chaos unfolded around him.

    Players from both sides came rushing in to remonstrate as umpires did their best the break up the fracas.

    CNN’s Abby Phillip cut one of her MAGA-friendly guests down to size on Tuesday night after an outburst during their panel discussion.

    Following a heated conversation on Tuesday night’s episode of NewsNight with Abby Phillip, which featured clashes between panellists on the subject of ICE’s tactics in Minneapolis, Phillip asked Canadian businessman Kevin O’Leary if he had a quick last word before they ended the show.

    “Oh, wow. My last word is: You’re all nuts,” the former Shark Tank star said.

    “We gotta keep it together here. There’s a way to talk about these things. If you don’t have anything to say, just say that and I won’t come to you next time,” Phillip fired back.

    Herbert: It’s the end of Hamilton, Ferrari hasn’t rebooted him

    Herbert said the signs are written all over the Ferrari driver’s demeanour and performances: “Hamilton is lost and I don’t see a bounce back from him.
