Megan Schutt has been brought into the side for today's first ODI, with Lucy Hamilton also into the squad.

The second and third matches in the ODI series will be played in Hobart on Friday and Sunday, before a one-off Test match in Perth starting March 6.

Australian stars Ellyse Perry and Kim Garth have both been ruled out of the entire One Day International (ODI) series against world champions India.

Alyssa Healy has called on Australia to "come hard" at India and stamp their home-ground advantage as the multi-format series switches to the ODIs.

Australia go into the three 50-over matches bruised following their 1-2 defeat in the T20I leg – their first series loss in any format on home soil in more than nine years.

On Tuesday, they'll meet World Cup champions India in an ODI for the first time since last October's semi-final heartbreak, and needing to win at least two of the one-day matches to keep their hopes of an outright series win alive.

What we learned from the first trailer for the new Peaky Blinders film

The first full trailer for the new Peaky Blinders film, The Immortal Man, has been released – by order of the people at Netflix.

Following on from Steven Knight's acclaimed TV drama series, the trailer shows Oscar winner Cillian Murphy reprising his role as flat cap-wearing criminal gang leader Tommy Shelby, returning to Birmingham during World War Two.

New additions to the cast include Dune actress Rebecca Ferguson, Reservoir Dogs actor Tim Roth and Saltburn star Barry Keoghan, who plays Shelby's son who seems to need to be set on the right path.

Another award winner, Adolescence's Stephen Graham also returns as well as Sophie Rundle as Tommy's sister, Ada.

Feature film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will screen in select cinemas from March 6 and on Netflix on March 20.

Cillian Murphy returns as the iconic Tommy Shelby in the film directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight.

First crewed mission around the Moon in 53 years delayed by leak

NASA has delayed the launch of its mission to send humans around the Moon for the first time since the Apollo missions.

NASA had hoped to launch the mission as early as next week.

But a full two-day dress rehearsal of the launch was terminated in the last 5 minutes yesterday due to the detection of a hydrogen leak in the rocket.

The test also revealed issues with communication systems with the crew capsule.

The astronauts of NASA's Artemis 2 moon mission want to become a mere footnote in the annals of space history.

Artemis 2 will send NASA's Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch and Canada's Jeremy Hansen on a 10-day flight around the moon. As the first crewed trip to lunar realms since Apollo 17 in 1972, this mission will be momentous — but the Artemis 2 astronauts hope future generations have reason to gloss over their contributions.

"I hope they forget all about Artemis 2," Koch told Bill Whitaker of CBS' "60 Minutes," which aired a piece about the mission on Sunday night (Feb. 1). "I think that's a little bit extreme, but we talk about our legacy being enabling the future missions, all the way from Artemis 3 to Artemis 100 to missions to Mars."

Nepal to face UAE in first warm-up match in Chennai today

The Nepali national cricket team, currently in India for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup, will play their first warm-up match on Tuesday.

The team, which had been training in Mumbai, has travelled to Chennai for the practice fixtures. Nepal will play two warm-up matches in Chennai against the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

In their first warm-up match, Nepal will face the UAE on Tuesday. The match will kick off at the MA Chidambaram Stadium from 5:15pm NST.

Nepal will play their second warm-up match against Canada on Thursday. Both matches will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, the venue for World Cup matches, which the Cricket Association of Nepal said would help the team adapt to the pitch and conditions.

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Feb.1: The Nepali men’s cricket team defeated Mumbai Cricket Academy (MCA) Presidents XI by 48 runs in their second practice match in Mumbai, India, on Saturday.

Winning the toss at the Brabourne Cricket Stadium, Nepal opted to bat first and posted 183 for 5 in 20 overs. In reply, MCA were restricted to 135 for 8 in their allotted overs.

Leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane claimed three wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi and Gulshan Jha picked up two apiece. Lamichhane had missed the Sri Lanka tour due to his Bangladesh Premier League commitments, and after arriving in Mumbai was unwell, forcing him to sit out the first practice match.

Nepal set 184-run target for Mumbai MCA President’s XI

KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Nepal have set a target of 184 runs for the Mumbai MCA President’s XI in their ongoing second practice match.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first at the Brabourne Cricket Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, Nepal posted 183 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Arif Sheikh anchored the innings with an unbeaten half-century, scoring 66 off 42 balls. Openers Aasif Sheikh and Lokesh Bam contributed 25 and 15 runs respectively before being dismissed.

Earlier, the Nepal national cricket team had defeated the Mumbai MCA President’s XI by seven wickets in the first practice match.

Sony‘s four-movie Beatles biopic project is starting to come together.

In a unique marketing strategy, the studio printed four different postcards — each showing one of the core stars in the first looks at the characters — that were dispersed throughout the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts for students to find. Director Sam Mendes‘ The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event hits theaters in April 2028 and star Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.

“The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event,” which is set to arrive in theaters in 2028, has released first looks at the Fab Four via postcards distributed at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts on Thursday. The school was co-founded by Paul McCartney.

The cards, presented on the school’s Instagram account, and also posted by students, show the actors as their respective band members, including Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.

The films also star Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, James Norton as Brian Epstein, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey, Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono, Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd, Harry Lloyd as George Martin, David Morrissey as Jim McCartney, Leanne Best as Mimi Smith, Bobby Schofield as Neil Aspinall, Daniel Hoffmann-Gill as Mal Evans, Arthur Darvill as Derek Taylor, and Adam Pally as Allen Klein.

The first look at the fab four in Sam Mendesâ€™ Beatles biopics has arrivedâ€”in the mail. Today (January 29), the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, which was co-founded by Paul McCartney, sent out postcards with photos of Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Harris Dickinson, and Joseph Quinn in character. Mescal plays McCartney, Keoghan plays Ringo Starr, Dickinson plays John Lennon, and Quinn plays George Harrison.

All four of Mendesâ€™ filmsâ€”the first scripted movies to be granted the Beatlesâ€™ life and music rightsâ€”are currently set to be released on April 7, 2028, according to Variety. NSW's first female governor Dame Marie Bashir dies aged 95

NSW Premier Chris Minns has announced a state funeral for Dame Marie Bashir, the first female governor of the state.

Dame Marie served in the role between 2001 and 2014, having previously worked as a clinical psychiatrist.

Dame Marie Bashir, who became the first female governor of New South Wales and held the post for 14 years, has died, Premier Chris Minns has announced.

In a statement released on Tuesday night, Mr Minns described her as "an extraordinary Australian and one of New South Wales’ most respected public servants".

He announced a state funeral would be held for the "deeply loved mother of three children and six grandchildren".

Italian qualifier beats teenage gun to win Hobart crown

Italian qualifier Elisabetta Cocciaretto has reeled off seven wins in eight days to claim the Hobart International, ousting gun teenager Iva Jovic in the final.

World No.80 Cocciaretto secured her second WTA title with a 6-4 6-4 victory over the 18-year-old third-seeded American on Saturday.

Cocciaretto started the tournament in qualifying on January 10 and only had Tuesday off en route to the final.

Muhammad Ali forever stamp the ultimate reversal of government's view of him

Louisville — Postal officials unveiled a commemorative stamp of boxing legend Muhammad Ali in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday, featuring a photo of the champ in his fighting prime.

The Postal Service printed 22 million of the Ali stamps, which feature an Associated Press photo from 1974 showing the fighter holding up his gloves in a fighting stance. His last name, in bold black and red all-cap lettering, accents the stamp.

"We honor Muhammad Ali here in his hometown, a city that shaped him and that he reshaped forever," said longtime broadcaster Bob Costas, who hosted the unveiling event.

The champ's friends and family gathered to celebrate the issuance of the stamp, which went on sale Thursday.
