Linda Nosková and Karolína Muchová have reached the women's final on Saturday with wins today.

Nosková (9) defeated Marta Kostyuk (12) 6-4, 6-4, and Muchová beat U.S. star Coco Gauff (7) in an exhilarating match with a super tiebreak.

What a result for the Czech athlete! Here's how she reflected on reaching her first Wimbledon final:

💬 “A semifinal at a Grand Slam is never easy no matter who you play, how you play or the score. I tried to be as patient as possible and somehow get the last point I guess.

Gauff completes Pegula comeback to reach first Wimbledon semifinal

Coco Gauff is making three-set wins at Wimbledon a habit this year — and her latest, a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 comeback against good friend and fellow American Jessica Pegula, earned her a spot in the semifinals at the grass-court Grand Slam tournament for the first time.

The 1 hour and 48-minute victory makes the two-time major champion the seventh active player to reach the semifinals or better at all four Grand Slam tournaments in her career, joining Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Karolina Pliskova, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek.

Gauff, who has now played four consecutive three setters in five rounds, called the run at the All England Club "pretty insane." She entered Wimbledon on a four-match losing streak on the surface, and also came from a set down to beat Belinda Bencic in the Round of 16. But she'll be the favorite on paper to reach her fourth career Grand Slam singles final when she faces No. 10 seed Karolina Muchova next, as Gauff will take a 6-1 head-to-head record against the Czech into their first grass-court meeting.

Perfect Against Americans… Until Now: Gauff, Pegula Ready to Battle for Supremacy at Wimbledon

Tuesday’s quarterfinal between Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff will be the first all-American Wimbledon women’s singles match featuring two Top 10 seeds since Serena and Venus Williams met in the 2009 final.

It’s a matchup both Pegula and Gauff have been looking forward to.

The pair have plenty of history. They’ve played together at the Olympics and the Grand Slams, reached the World No.1 doubles ranking as a team, and faced each other eight times in singles—but never at a major.

Their ninth meeting will be their biggest yet, with both players bidding for a maiden Wimbledon semifinal. Pegula is 8-0 against fellow Americans in 2026 and has won 19 of her last 20 matches against compatriots. Gauff is 6-0 against Americans this season. The cream of the crop is rising to the top.

Coco Gauff beats race against curfew clock with late-night victory against Bencic

Coco Gauff’s dream of winning a first Wimbledon title is still alive after a hard-fought, race against time victory over Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic. After the latest start in Wimbledon history, at 8.40pm, the American dropped the first set but fought back to clinch a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win, finishing just two minutes before the 11pm curfew.

Gauff hit nine double faults, including five in one game in the first set, but the quality of ball-striking was immense and the No 7 seed held her nerve to get the job done and reach the quarter-finals for the first time. The 22-year-old will now play another American, Jessica Pegula, for a place in the semis.

Quarterfinals at last! Gauff edges Bencic to break new ground at Wimbledon

Coco Gauff secures her first Wimbledon quarterfinal after a thrilling comeback win against Belinda Bencic. Despite being 0-3 in fourth rounds and 0-6 in sets previously, Gauff fought back to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. She faces Jessica Pegula next for a shot at her first-ever semifinal at the grass-court major.

Fourth time's the charm! In her fourth appearance in the fourth round at Wimbledon, Coco Gauff broke through to a first-ever quarterfinal with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 comeback over Belinda Bencic.

Gauff was not only 0-3 previously in fourth rounds at Wimbledon — she was also 0-6 in sets in those matches. And, over the first 50 minutes, that set record extended to 0-7 as she lost a 3-0 lead in the opener on No. 1 Court.

🎾 Order of play | Joint ends Williams comeback | Mail Katy

Usually it’s the player who’s lost the set that goes off court, but interestingly it’s Krejcikova who’s taken her leave here. Maybe she’s a secret England fan. Martinez, meanwhile, is trying to shout some instructions to Andreeva, but the 19-year-old doesn’t want to listen. The impudence of youth, eh.

“A former Wimbledon champion against the reigning Roland Garros champion. Andreeva vs Krejcikova is a match to savour,” emails Gavriella Epstein-Lightman, who may be one of the only Guardian readers currently not over there. “The fact that it is coming in the second round is testament to Krejcikova’s injury woes and lack of form. But the Czech strikes a cleaner ball than most and is expert at guiding crisp forehands into the corners like precision-guided missiles. Her unyielding accuracy and the penetration of her groundstrokes has disrupted Andreeva’s rhythm.”

Gauff escapes Sierra in third-set tiebreak thriller at Wimbledon

In a gripping battle at Wimbledon, Sloana Sierra pushed Coco Gauff to the limit, nearly pulling off an upset. Gauff staged a remarkable comeback, winning six straight points in the final-set tiebreak to secure a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 victory after 2 hours and 8 minutes. Gauff's resilience shines through as she advances to the next round.

Having played Coco Gauff twice already in 2026 before facing her in the second round of Wimbledon, Argentina's Solana Sierra had gotten progressively more comfortable with the daunting prospect of playing the two-time Grand Slam singles champion. After winning just two games in their first-ever meeting, at the United Cup in January, Sierra pushed Gauff to the brink at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome, holding a 3-0 final-set lead before losing six of the last seven games.

Wimbledon Day 3 Predictions Including Coco Gauff vs Solana Sierra

The second round of Wimbledon is upon us, and it is already looking like we could be in store for another frenzied Grand Slam. Coco Gauff takes the court as she hunts for her first Wimbledon title. As always, we at LWOT offer our roundtable predictions for every match on the slate. But who will advance?

    Amanda
In the first round, Sara Sorribes Tormo didn’t face much resistance in a straight-set win, but it’ll be a different story against Jessica Pegula. Pegula turned what could have been a tight opener into a straight-set win of her own and is playing well. Sorribes Tormo’s biggest weapon is her consistency in rallies, but Pegula can match that and outhit her.
    Prediction: Pegula in 2

Naomi Osaka's all-black French Open outfit rivals her jellyfish-inspired look from the Australian Open

Following the news of Arkansas ending their tennis teams funding, Dan says that if he were a coach who was making $10+ million he would tell the university to take millions to him as he couldn't see other sports fold while one coach was making an absurd amount

Whether you view it as a refreshing trend or a giant distraction, there is no denying that Naomi Osaka knows how to make an entrance onto the tennis court.

The four-time Grand Slam champion has made it a habit to wear over-the-top, nontraditional outfits while taking the court on the game's biggest stages, and at this year's French Open, that trend has continued.

Osaka set to compete in style

The former world No.1 is targeting a first move into the Roland-Garros second week

Before Naomi Osaka conquered the tennis world and lifted four Grand Slam titles, she wasn’t the ice cool competitor we’re used to.

Osaka’s focused on-court persona is about steely looks, fist bumps and keeping razor sharp with side-to-side bounces. Plenty of "C’mon"s fire up the Japanese global superstar.

“Honestly, I had a pretty bad attitude when I was younger, and my dad had a stern talk to me about it, and ever since then, I was, like, ‘Oh, oh, no,’” admitted the 28-year-old.

Gauff puts title defence on track

Coco Gauff powered past Taylor Townsend to open her title defence with a 6-4, 6-0 win

Less than a year ago, Coco Gauff became the first US woman to win the women’s singles title in Paris since Serena Williams in 2015. She opened her title defence in the same decisive fashion on Tuesday in Court Philippe-Chatrier, powering past fellow American Taylor Townsend, 6-4, 6-0.

Only three times in the Open era has the defending women’s singles champion lost in the first round of the Roland-Garros singles draw. Despite an early deficit, Gauff was determined not to be the fourth.

By the numbers: Gauff takes 11 of last 12 games to handle Townsend in Paris opener

World No. 4 and defending champion Coco Gauff got her title defense campaign off to a strong start, defeating American compatriot Taylor Townsend 6-4, 6-0 in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Defending Roland Garros champion Coco Gauff is through to the second round. In a routine 6-4, 6-0 win over American compatriot Taylor Townsend, Gauff advances to the Round of 64 in Paris for the seventh consecutive tournament.

Tuesday's first-round meeting marked their first between Gauff and Townsend on the WTA Tour Driven by Mercedes-Benz, though Townsend edged the then 15-year-old Gauff, now 22, in three sets at a W100 in Charleston, South Carolina in May 2019. Fast forward seven years, and the reigning French Open champion entered as the presumed favorite against Townsend, who has now not advanced past the first round in Paris since 2018.
