    Opinion: There’s a tiny detail in the new season of Ted Lasso that’s easy to miss, but it hit me like a freight train when I noticed it in the first episode – and I haven’t been able to stop noticing it since.

    Coach Alice Chilton, played by 34-year-old Sex Education and The Other Bennet Sister star Tanya Reynolds, has grey hairs.

    We’ve been on a journey in Ted Lasso season 4. We started with finding a way to get Ted (Jason Sudeikis) back to Richmond, this time to shepherd the women’s team, but it hasn’t been smooth sailing for the team, either.

    Much like with the men’s team once upon a time, Ted is having to work his magic to make them a cohesive unit. That continues this week as he tries to get them all on the same page. The fourth episode of the season, “Greyhounds’ Day Off,” shows there is work to be done to get them to bond.

    ‘Ted Lasso’ Doubles Down on Its Most Infuriating Storyline

    Sam and Diane, Ross and Rachel, Pam and Jim, Nick and Jess. Every decade has a memorable sitcom will-they-won’t-they that goes through various stages of yearning, getting together, breaking up, and reuniting. It is a tried-and-tested formula that, if timed right, will have audiences cheering at significant milestones—like first kisses—as if their team has just scored.

    Unfortunately, Ted Lasso fails to capitalize on its previous romantic momentum and comes up short in this department.

    “I think keeping two people apart who belong together is bad,” Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) says in an earlier episode this season. She is talking to her ex, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein), about his coaching staff quandary, but really, she is talking about them. There is no wink to the camera, but there might as well have been.

    In the Grey review – Guy Ritchie’s bizarrely buried action caper is a blast

    There’s a great deal of fun to be had in the director’s sly and surprisingly serious thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill and Eiza González

    While the actual quality might never threaten to float him above a three-star rating, I’ve grown an odd, outsized fondness for Guy Ritchie’s recent run of solidly enjoyable lower-tier action films. Whether deadly serious (Wrath of Man), entirely unserious (Operation Fortune) or somewhere between the two (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare), there’s been a real snap to them, one that’s usually missing from other recent films of that ilk. Ritchie is more deeply invested in the thought-through craft of making a B-movie than many of his peers and there’s a smooth sensuousness to how he moves, each of them looking, feeling and sounding like films he genuinely cares about.

    Grey Zabel & Kenneth Walker III Active, Ernest Jones IV Inactive For Seahawks' Week 12 Game at Tennessee

    NASHVILLE—The Seahawks will be without middle linebacker Ernest Jones IV for their Week 12 game against the Titans.

    Jones, who was listed as questionable with a knee injury, is inactive for Sunday's game, while the three other players listed as questionable—guard Grey Zabel, running back Kenneth Walker III and fullback Robbie Ouzts—are active.

    Jones, who initially injured his knee in Seattle's Week 9 win over the Commanders, missed one game, then returned last week to play against the Rams.

    "His knee, really from a couple weeks ago, just working through it," Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said. "He hasn't reinjured anything or anything, he's just working through his knee."
