    Novak Djokovic is back in action at the Swiss Indoors this week, making his first appearance here since 2011. It's been a while, but Serbian superstar has had success at the ATP 500 event in Basel, notably breaking Swiss hearts when he beat one of his greatest rivals, Roger Federer, in the 2009 and 2010 finals. It's now been four years since Federer retired, while Djokovic is still going strong on the tour at the age of 39, and won his 102nd career title in Beijing earlier this month.

    The pair have still seen each other on the tennis circuit since Federer bowed out at the 2022 Laver Cup, where Novak Djokovic served as his Team Europe teammate. The Swiss star ran into Djokovic at the 2024 Shanghai Masters and then watched his old rival lose to Jannik Sinner in the final. Federer was also at the Australian Open earlier this year, where Djokovic finished runner-up.

    Novak Djokovic expressed the respect he has for Roger Federer as he spoke candidly about his relationship with his former rival.

    World No 12 Djokovic is competing this week at the Swiss Indoors in Basel, where he is making his first appearance since 2011.

    The Serbian defeated Federer in the final at the 2009 Swiss Indoors to secure his only title at the ATP 500 tournament.

    Federer then overcame Djokovic in the 2010 Basel championship match in the pair’s only other encounter at the event.

    Djokovic and Federer played 50 times in a rivalry spanning from 2006 to 2020, with the latter holding a 27-23 head-to-head edge.

    “I just had bottom surgery in December, which was amazing, and I love it so much,” Schafer told Elle magazine, referring to the gender-affirming operation that alters a person’s genitals to align with their gender identity.

    “For a long time I’ve embraced the gender-expansive part of myself, and I really wanted to try to make that previous body work, because I thought there was something really cool and badass about it,” she said.     10 need to improve three things, primetime, daytime in particular and their multichannels. There are way too many repeats across the schedule. What happened to their strategy of programming 50 weeks of content a year? Multichannels need massive work. The drama and comedy channels are basically are second tier repeat and encore channels. Daytime, no excuses. You can’t just have repeats/encores from breakfast to 4:30pm with limited fresh programming. At least consider another daytime advertorial infotainment program or pick up a couple of new syndicated programs from the U.S to add to the daytime news, ‘ET’, cooking programs and ‘B&B’. With primetime, a mixture of different formats would be good. I think we know though the upfronts will be more of the same with a couple of new things here and there..

    One of Australia's biggest tomato brands and two major supermarkets are selling products that independent scientific testing shows do not match the country of origin stated on their labels.

    Forensic testing conducted for Four Corners has revealed dozens of tomato paste and passata products that claim to be from Australia or Italy are actually from China.

    About half of those are sourced from Xinjiang, an area known internationally for its use of forced labour.

    The majority of Leggo's tomato paste products tested, in tins, cans, and bottles, were found to have misleading labels. The company, owned by US food giant Simplot, makes strong claims on its packaging that it sources from Australian farms.

    A Four Corners investigation has uncovered products whose labels did not match independent scientific testing, raising serious questions about the integrity of Australia's food supply.

    From cage-free eggs and Australian seafood to tomato products, spices and alcohol, the findings expose weaknesses in the systems designed to protect consumers.

    The eight-month investigation collated thousands of food import inspection records, national food recalls, state regulatory records and international food fraud intelligence. 

    It found that, despite hundreds of contaminated or unsafe food products being detected at the border each year, including rice containing arsenic and cheese contaminated with listeria, only a fraction of imported food is inspected, and testing for dangerous contaminants has declined since 2019.
