    Hope, Dodgers' No. 2 prospect, smacks grand slam to continue hit streak

    The Dodgers’ No. 2 prospect (MLB No. 24) blasted a grand slam on Sunday for Double-A Tulsa, helping power a 7-2 win over Springfield. The big fly was Hope’s second career grand slam and his second home run of the young 2026 campaign, with his first coming just one day earlier on Saturday.

    Hope showed off his gaudy 60-grade power with Sunday’s fourth-inning shot, taking a pitch on the outer portion of the plate and sending it way out to the opposite field at 101 mph.

    The outfielder tacked on a ground-ball single in the ninth for his first multi-hit game of 2026. He has now recorded a hit in all eight games to begin the Drillers’ season, resulting in a .265/.297/.500 slash line.

    Humour and science fiction may not seem obvious bedfellows but a history of cinema will tell you different. Think Spaceballs, Mars Attacks! and Everything Everwhere All At Once to name but a few. And now Ryan Gosling is hopping on board.

    The 45-year-old is both the lead actor and producer of Project Hail Mary, a space adventure film based on the 2021 Andy Weir novel of the same name.

    The event will once again take place in Qatar, at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium and fans can also enjoy a spectacular pre-game show by The Chainsmokers, and the Jonas Brothers will be performing at halftime.

    The charity match will feature Team Chunkz, coached by Arsène Wenger, against Team AboFlah, led by Roberto Di Matteo.

    Bein Sports To Broadcast 'Match For Hope' Live To Raise Funds For EAA

    beIN Sports will broadcast Match for Hope 2026 – The Final Showdown live and free-to-air across 24 Mena markets tomorrow (January 30), as well as world-wide on its social media platforms.

    Featuring the likes of Thierry Henry, Eden Hazard, Marcelo, and the biggest social media influencers including the likes of Mr Beast, KSI and Chunkz, the match promises an unforgettable evening of football, entertainment, and purpose. Organised by Q Life, the cultural division of Qatar's International Media Office, the annual charity football match is taking place at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Doha.

    Uniting sporting legends, globally recognised content creators, and international musicians, the match aims to raise money and awareness for Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, a global non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of millions of out-of-school children around the world. All proceeds from the match will be donated to EAA projects in Palestine, Sudan, Nepal, Guatemala, Senegal, Malawi and Haiti.

    An unbeaten century from Shai Hope has given the West Indies reason to believe in a day five miracle in the first Test against New Zealand

    A New Zealand team with a crowded medical ward has been unable to finish off West Indies on the fourth day of the first Test after setting the tourists 531 to win.

    Shai Hope led the resistance on Thursday with his fourth Test century in an unbroken partnership of 140 with Justin Greaves which began when New Zealand captured four wickets relatively quickly in the second session.

    At stumps, Hope was 116 not out, Greaves 55 not out and West Indies 4-212, trailing New Zealand by 319 runs in Christchurch.
