Suns injury update. Key player close to re-evaluation before road trip

The Phoenix Suns enter the finale of their three-game homestand March 8 against the Charlotte Hornets down three players due to injury.

Dillon Brooks (left hand fracture), Jordan Goodwin (left calf strain) and Mark Williams (left foot third metatarsal stress reaction) have been ruled out for Sunday’s game.

Goodwin is due for a re-evaluation early next week. The Suns announced Feb. 24 that he’d re-evaluated in one to two weeks.

Phoenix (36-27) begins a six-game road trip March 10 against the Milwaukee Bucks (26-35).

Phoenix is two games behind the Los Angeles Lakers (38-25) for sixth in the West. The Suns own the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Lakers.

Kellan Olson: Grayson Allen out. Wasn't on the initial injury report and then popped up as probable this morning. Looks like the knee only got worse. Has been a nagging one for him this year.

Mavericks vs Raptors Preview and Injury Update: It’s been a while, Toronto

The Dallas Mavericks (21-42) start the second half of this road trip, playing the Toronto Raptors (35-27) on Sunday afternoon at the odd start time of 5:00 pm CST. Toss in the start of Daylight Savings Time and I expect both teams to be out of sorts. Dallas is riding a six-game losing streak, falling Friday to the Boston Celtics in a big way. The Raptors have lost four of their last five and need to find some consistency.

Dallas has a more reasonable injury report compared to the past several games. The two-way guys are all out. Cooper Flagg is questionable with his ankle/foot injury he aggravated against the Celtics. Marvin Bagley is as well after being out since the Sacramento Kings game with a neck sprain. Dwight Powell is listed as probable with an injury I don’t remember him getting. Daniel Gafford and PJ Washington don’t carry any designations, a rarity this season given the ankle issues both have had.

Collins (neck) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.

Collins will miss his second straight game due to a neck injury that he suffered during Sunday's matchup against the Pelicans. Kobe Sanders drew the start in Collins' stead Monday and will be a candidate to do so again Wednesday.

Clippers Remain Without Key Rotation Player Against Indiana Pacers

The Los Angeles Clippers return to the floor on Wednesday when they host the Indiana Pacers.

The Clippers are coming off a 114-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday, which was their second straight victory following a three-game losing streak. This is a home game in the middle of a three-game road trip. They are ninth in the West, slowly creeping above .500 with a 29-31 record.

The Pacers have been one of the worst teams in the league for most of the season, but are ice cold right now on a six-game losing streak. They lost 125-106 to the Memphis Grizzlies in their last game. This is the start of a four-game losing streak for them. They are last in the East with a 15-46 record.

South East Melbourne put on an unrelenting defensive masterclass to trounce Perth 111-94 in the NBL seeding qualifier.

But their resounding victory has come at a cost with import Ian Clark suffering a calf injury.

Clark, who scored 16 points off the bench, crash-landed as he was fouled on a drive with 7:28 remaining in the fourth quarter at John Cain Arena on Wednesday night.

On getting up, he favoured his left leg before exiting the contest 12 seconds later.

Finals state of play: The case for and against every team

The South East Melbourne Phoenix put the torch on the Perth Wildcats ball handlers and took full advantage of the pressure applied to dominate their Seeding Qualifier to advance to the Playoffs with the 111-94 win.

All season long the Phoenix have put full court pressure on their opponents. When that's worked, they have been able to get out and run to play at the NBL's fastest pace and get up the most shots.

That came to full fruition at John Cain Arena on Wednesday night to open the NBL Finals as they took advantage of a Wildcats team without a recognised point guard which proved the ultimate difference.

Joe has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against Detroit due to a left glute contusion, Nick Crain of Forbes.com reports.

The sharpshooting guard was off his game when on the floor, generating just three points (1-5 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 14 minutes. In his stead, look for Jared McCain and Nikola Topic to see more playing time. Joe's next chance to play will come Friday against Denver.

Mavericks vs Pacers Preview and Injury Update: Sunday afternoon basketball

The Dallas Mavericks (19-36) visit the Indiana Pacers (15-42) for a very strangely timed Sunday afternoon game. Dallas is in the midst of a double-digit losing streak, having not won a game in over a month. The Pacers just out tanked the Washington Wizards twice in a row. This is going to be a monumentally bad game!

There are TWENTY TWO players on the injury report for this game between both teams. Cooper Flagg headlines the guys out for the Mavericks. Moussa Cisse and Ryan Nembhard are doubtful, largely due to how many games they have left of their eligibility. Daniel Gafford and Max Christie are still questionable. Miles Kelly and Caleb Martin are expected to play. Most of the Pacers roster is questionable with Zubac, Nesmith, Johnny Furphy, and Haliburton definatively out.

Mavericks vs Pacers: 3 things before a Dallas afternoon tussle with Indiana

The Dallas Mavericks (19-36, 5-19 Away) prepare to face off with the Indiana Pacers (15-42, 10-18 Home) at 4 pm CST on Sunday. While Dallas is on the longest losing streak the franchise has seen since before my car renting age of 25, Indiana is also facing struggles as they were just handed back-to-back losses by a Washington Wizards team that has been eerily competitive of late. Someone has to win this one, right? Right?

Yes, the Mavericks are losing as if their tankathon lives depend on it, but if you actually watch these games, that is absolutely not what is happening on the court or the box scores. No matter who is in the starting lineup or who this team is up against, the Mavericks do not roll over, for anyone, full stop. This “win at all costs, we are not tanking” attitude from the players makes a refreshing dynamic to watch when compared to the decisions being made by other franchises, often in blatant fashion. The Mavericks roster is a combination of youth with varying degrees of potential mixed with veterans with a high level of pride in their craft who were either in the Finals less than two years ago or signed here expecting to help the team return. This double-digit game losing streak is noteworthy—not simply for its unparalleled length this century for the Mavericks—but for the duality of the positive impact it has on the Mavericks locker room to fight every game regardless of time and score, as well as the undeniable shift in lottery odds that comes with every loss.

Mavericks vs Pacers Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

The Dallas Mavericks have waved the white flag with 10 straight losses, but they’ll be hard-pressed to out-tank the Indiana Pacers as the teams square off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse today.

At 15-42, Indiana has the inside track on a high lottery pick, and my Mavericks vs. Pacers predictions expect both squads to struggle to create good looks without their sidelined playmakers.

Read on for my free NBA picks ahead of this February 22 basement battle.

The injury reports for the Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers are a reminder that there’s every incentive to keep their top playmakers on the sidelines. Both squads have peppered the Under this season, and it feels like one of the best picks on the board today.

Stephon Castle Injury Updates: Spurs vs. Lakers Live Coverage 2/10/26

In an emerging story from the NBA, Stephon Castle of the San Antonio Spurs suffered an injury during the game against the Los Angeles Lakers. This incident occurred on February 10, 2026, and has raised concerns among fans and team officials.

During the game, Castle experienced a significant fall while playing a transition offense. This mishap led him to exit the game and head to the locker room. The medical team evaluated his condition, and it was confirmed that he would not return to the court that evening.

At the time of his departure, Castle had contributed to the Spurs’ performance by scoring two points, grabbing one rebound, and providing seven assists within just 12 minutes of play. His role in creating plays had been pivotal for the Spurs as they faced off against the Lakers, who were missing key players including LeBron James and Luka Doncic.

Spurs' Stephon Castle: Exits to locker room

Castle exited to the locker room in the second quarter of Tuesday's game against the Lakers due to an apparent back injury, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.

After blocking a dunk attempt from Rui Hachimura, Castle hit the floor hard and grabbed at his lower back on the way to the locker room. If the second-year guard is unable to return, Dylan Harper would likely see increased playing time the rest of the way.

Suns provide injury updates on Booker, Green ahead of Blazers game

Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game, Feb. 3, against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center, while Jalen Green is listed as questionable.

The Suns (30-20) weren't scheduled to practice Feb. 2 on their travel day.

Booker missed the entire five-game homestand after suffering a right ankle sprain Jan. 23 against the Atlanta Hawks to end a six-game road trip.

"Book is making tremendous progress," Suns coach Jordan Ott said before Sunday's 117-93 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. "Obviously been on the court multiple times. Trending in a good spot."

Booker was due for a re-evaluation of the sprained right ankle this past weekend.

Discuss Trail Blazers vs. Suns Action Here!

The Portland Trail Blazers will face the team they wanted to be this season when the Phoenix Suns come to the Moda Center for an 8:00 PM, Pacific matchup tonight. Portland planned on being the team that everyone underestimated this season who broke through to the playoffs. Instead the Blazers are nursing a sub-.500 record while the Suns, at 30-20, are the darlings of the conference. Perhaps Portland can eat into that impression—and the gap between them—tonight.

Either way, you can talk about the action here! Here’s the critical info you’ll need as the game starts:

Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott said Sunday that Booker is making tremendous progress, noting he has been on the court multiple times and is trending in a good spot, even skipping steps in his recovery timeline. Despite the positive update, Booker will sit out Tuesday’s game, with his next opportunity to play coming Thursday against the Golden State Warriors. In his absence, Collin Gillespie and Grayson Allen should continue to see extended minutes, while Dillon Brooks is expected to see an uptick in usage.
