    Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Helped to locker room Monday

    Butler (knee) was helped to the locker room in the third quarter of Monday's game against the Heat due to an apparent right knee injury, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.

    Butler went up to catch a pass and landed awkwardly on his right leg, with his knee caving in before he went down. The star forward appeared to be in a significant amount of pain and required assistance getting to the back. In the likely event he's unable to return, he'll finish with 17 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four assists, three rebounds and two steals in 21 minutes.

    Warriors' Jimmy Butler helped off court with knee injury, unable to put weight on right leg

    Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler left Monday's game against the Miami Heat with a knee injury that left him in significant pain and in need of help off the court.

    The injury took place in the third quarter after Butler caught a contested pass in the paint. Butler landed awkwardly on his right leg and fell to the ground after contact from Davion Mitchell that drew a foul.

    Butler writhed on the court and clutched his right knee after sustaining the injury. Warriors coach Steve Kerr called a timeout to check on Butler as Butler screamed in pain on the baseline.

    Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff dies, aged 81

    Jimmy Cliff, one of the most prominent and beloved proponents of reggae music, has died at the age of 81.

    A star since the 1960s, he helped to bring the sound of Jamaica to a global audience through hits such as Wonderful World, Beautiful People and You Can Get It If You Really Want.

    His lead role as a gun-toting rebel in the 1972 crime drama The Harder They Come is a cornerstone of Jamaican cinema, and was attributed as the movie that brought reggae to America.

    Cliff's wife, Latifa Chambers, announced his death via a statement on Instagram.

    "It's with profound sadness that I share that my husband, Jimmy Cliff, has crossed over due to a seizure followed by pneumonia," she wrote.

    Jimmy Cliff, the legendary Jamaican singer who along with Bob Marley popularised reggae, ska and rocksteady music over a six decade career, has died.

    His wife Latifa Chambers announced his death on Facebook on Monday, saying the cause was a seizure followed by pneumonia.

    Born James Chambers on July 30, 1944 during a hurricane in St James Parish, northwestern Jamaica, he moved in the 1950s from the family farm to the country's capital Kingston with his father, determined to succeed in the music industry.

    At just 14, he became nationally famous for the song Hurricane Hattie, which he wrote.

    Jimmy Cliff, Jamaican reggae star and actor, dead at 81

    Jimmy Cliff, a Grammy award-winning Jamaican reggae star and actor, is dead at 81, according to his family.

    "It’s with profound sadness that I share that my husband, Jimmy Cliff, has crossed over due to a seizure followed by pneumonia," Latifa Chambers, Cliff's wife, said in a post on his official Instagram account.  

    Cliff's award-winning career as a musician spanned decades and included some of reggae's most memorable hits, including "Many Rivers to Cross."

    That and two other hits — "You Can Get It If You Really Want" and "The Harder They Come" — were standouts on the official soundtrack for a 1972 film, also titled "The Harder They Come," that featured Cliff as its star. He played a young reggae star who's drawn into what's portrayed as the often-seedy world of music production in Jamaica.
