Rhyan Grant says Sydney FC haven't forgotten Brisbane Roar's antics as they face each other for the first time since a pre-season game between the teams descended into chaos and was abandoned by officials.

As a quirk of the A-League Men draw, Saturday's round-18 meeting at Allianz Stadium is the first time the Sky Blues and the Roar will meet in the league this season.

Talay – We need to manage moments better

Sydney FC Head Coach Ufuk Talay says his side must combine composure with intensity when they host Brisbane Roar at Allianz Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

With three games in the space of a week, Talay confirmed his squad has handled the short turnaround well heading into another pivotal fixture in the run home.

“They’ll get their last session in this morning in preparation for Brisbane. It’s been a short turnaround again — three games in a week — but overall the boys are looking fine and ready to go.”

Talay also addressed his on-field exchange with Al Hassan Toure during the week, making it clear there are no lingering issues.
