LIVE REVIEW: LINKIN PARK ‘End Zero World Tour’ With Special Guests POLARIS
This would have to be one of the most anticipated tours of the last year. The new look, new sounding Linkin Park has tongues wagging ever since the decided to move forward with Emily Armstrong fronting the band.
It’s a bold move for any band to move forward after a tragic loss of a frontman. Everyone from AC/DC has had their share of trial by fire with fans. For me while it was a very bold move to decide to move forward in Chester Bennington’s passing. Picking a female front was even more of a gamble.
With the last record End Zero we saw a rebirth of the band and a new approach. So, live how would this all work …. I will get to that in a moment.
Linkin Park's Triumphant Return to Australia: A Unforgettable Performance
Linkin Park opened the Australian leg of its From Zero World Tour in Brisbane on March 3, marking the band’s first show in Australia since 2013 and the first local performance with co-vocalist Emily Armstrong. At Brisbane Entertainment Centre, the Linkin Park From Zero World Tour set featured four acts, an encore, and a 27-song setlist. Emily Armstrong joined longtime members as the band mixed Chester Bennington-era hits with new material from ARIA #1 album From Zero. Highlights included Mike Shinoda’s Fort Minor selections, a mash-up segment, and a solo for DJ Joe Hahn. Remaining dates include Melbourne on March 8 and 10, Adelaide on March 12, and Sydney on March 14 and 15.

Rock legends Linkin Park are bringing their high-octane From Zero World Tour to Melbourne and it’s set to be nothing short of monumental. After all, this is their first visit to Australia since 2013 (and first with Emily Armstrong as lead singer), meaning anticipation is through the roof.
Linkin Park will be taking over Rod Laver Arena on Sunday 8 March and Tuesday 10 March, performing new hits like The Emptiness Machine and Heavy Is The Crown, as well as iconic anthems from their 20+ year career that have garnered billions of streams (and probably quite a few sore throats because you can’t sing “in the end it doesn’t really matter” with an inside voice).
