    Lussick Locked In

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are thrilled to announce the signing of Freddy Lussick on a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old hooker joins the Club with 70 NRL games under his belt across stints with the Roosters, Dragons, Warriors and Panthers.

He was instrumental in the Panthers’ run to the preliminary finals this year, playing 20 games, starting in all but three and finishing the season with four tries and an average of 34 tackles per game.

Bulldogs General Manager of Football Phil Gould AM was excited to confirm the signing.

“We recognised that we needed more depth at hooker and Freddy fills that void perfectly,” he said.

Phil Gould confirms two more Canterbury Bulldogs player departures

Canterbury Bulldogs general manager Phil Gould has confirmed two players who won't be with the club in the 2027 season.

On October 5, Phil Gould replied to a fan on social media who asked him if Jake Turpin and Kade Dykes had left the club after asking about players who would be in the club's top 30 roster.

There were rumoured signings with no confirmed arrivals before Gould confirmed four signings on October 3.

Both Dykes and Turpin were on one-year deals for 2026. They were among seven Bulldogs still off-contract before the Tigers confirmed they had signed Bulldogs lock forward Kurt Mann for the 2027 season.

Penrith Panthers lose two players to the Bulldogs as Wests Tigers star confirms swift exit

Bulldogs General Manager Phil Gould has confirmed Penrith Panthers duo Jesse McLean and Freddy Lussick will join the club next season with two more signings also on their way. This comes as Jeral Skelton departs the Wests Tigers ahead of next NRL season.

The Bulldogs were disappointing throughout the season having finished 12th. One of the areas that caused plenty of frustration for fans was the spine with Matt Burton and Stephen Crichton both partnering Lachlan Galvin in the halves throughout the campaign.

There was also debate around the No.9 role with Billy Hayward coming under scrutiny at times. However, the Bulldogs will reinforce the position with Panthers dummy-half Lussick joining the club.

Adam Scott will take his perfect swing, calm demeanour and sense of style into his 100th golf major (and 99th consecutive) when he tees it up at the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club this week.

He will then head to New York in June to become just the second player behind the legendary Jack Nicklaus to rack up 100 consecutive majors.

Scott lived up to the hype with four superb rounds to finish top 10 in his first time at Augusta. He was just 21 but played with the poise of a veteran as he carded four consistent rounds of 71,72,72 and 70 to earmark himself as a future star. Tiger Woods won by three shots.
