Nick Lodolo Explains What Went Wrong in Reds Loss to Dodgers
Nick Lodolo needed 97 pitches to get 14 outs at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night, and by the time he handed the ball over in the fifth inning the Cincinnati Reds were behind for good in a 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The left-hander walked three, hit two batters and gave up five hits in 4.2 innings, and he did not look for anyone else to blame.
"Too many free passes on my part. That's what led to the runs outside of the good hit by Smith in the first. Overall, got to limit the free passes," Lodolo told MLB.com.
Nick Lodolo fights command in loss to Dodgers
Nick Lodolo allowed three earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six over 4 2/3 innings in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers.
