    Australia's Karis Davidson has positioned herself for a big LPGA Tour prizemoney cheque as runaway leader Hyo Joo Kim eyes a second Founders Cup victory.

    South Korean star Kim played the first six holes in six under on Saturday before stalling at the tree-lined Sharon Heights course in California, leaving her with a five-stroke lead over American Nelly Korda as both shots six-under 66s.

    Josh Carr, one game into his tenure as Port Adelaide coach, has admitted his first blunder.

    Carr says his messaging likely led to his players underestimating strugglers North Melbourne in round one.

    Carr's head coaching career then began with a humbling 46-point loss to the Kangaroos.

    Carr on consistency, team defence and preparing for Essendon clash

    Senior coach Josh Carr spoke to Adelaide media today ahead of Round 2.

    Port Adelaide senior coach Josh Carr says the team is focused on consistency and team defence as they prepare to respond in this weekend’s home clash against Essendon. 

    Speaking to the media ahead of this week’s main training session, Carr discussed the Round 1 loss to North Melbourne, Jack Lukosius’ selection chances, and Jason Horne-Francis’ progress. 

    Port Adelaide will take on Essendon at home this Sunday at 2:45 pm local time, with tickets still available. The club will also celebrate Member Recognition Round, with a range of activities around the grounds, including a flag giveaway at all gates from 1:15 pm. More information on the game day experience can be found here.
