Mariah Carey Collects 100th Career Week Atop Hot 100 As ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ Continues at No. 1

The carol leads for a 21st week. Plus, Bobby Helms' "Jingle Bell Rock" hits a new No. 2 high.

Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” adds a record-extending 21st week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Carey claims her unprecedented and milestone 100th career week at No. 1 on the Hot 100, having accumulated her haul over 19 leaders, dating to her first, “Vision of Love,” in 1990. Rihanna ranks second with 60 weeks at No. 1, followed by The Beatles (59) and Drake (56).

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” secures another notable record as it logs its 78th week on the Hot 100, surpassing Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” as the longest-charted title ever by a woman artist.

Wham!'s 1984 hit, "Last Christmas", is No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart this week, closely followed by none other than Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You," which has been the No. 1 song on the weekly chart each December since it debuted on the list in 2020, according to Billboard.

"This is a remarkable moment for me, (Wham!), (George Michael) and (Sony Music UK), to learn that 'Last Christmas' is currently the world's favorite song," Wham! bandmember Andrew Ridgeley wrote in a Dec. 17 Instagram post. "(It) is the best Christmas gift we and George could ever have wished for."

Mariah Carey Scores Another No. 1 Song This Week — And It’s Not Her ‘Christmas’ Classic

While the superstar celebrates a historic Hot 100 feat, she adds to her chart-topping catalog with "In Your Feelings."

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” isn’t the only Mariah Carey song topping a Billboard chart this week.

As the diva’s holiday juggernaut, released in 1994, enjoys a record-setting 20th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Carey unwraps another chart-topper with her 2025 single “In Your Feelings,” which rises from the runner-up spot to crown the Adult R&B Airplay chart dated Dec. 27.

The track, released and promoted through MARIAH/gamma., ascends as the most-played on U.S. panel-contributing adult R&B radio stations for Dec. 12-18, according to Luminate. It improved 19% in plays compared to the previous week and wins the Greatest Gainer honor for the list’s largest increase.
