    Wimbledon 2026 Men’s Qualifying Draw

Qualifying play for The Championships begins tomorrow on the grass courts of Roehampton.

The men’s qualifying draw was issued today, and it puts 88th-ranked Argentinean Comesana at the top of the field.

Americans Mackenzie McDonald and former NCAA champion Michael Zheng, who qualified at the Australian Open in January and at Roland Garros last month, Frenchman Hugo Gaston and Nikoloz Basilashvili are among the notable names in the Wimbledon qualifying draw.

Wimbledon 2026 Opens June 23: AI Predictions for Every Title Contender

Wimbledon 2026 begins at the All England Club on June 23. Carlos Alcaraz goes for a third consecutive title. Iga Swiatek seeks her first Wimbledon. Novak Djokovic is back. AI gives Alcaraz 61% to win the men's title, with Sinner and Djokovic the primary threats. On the women's side, Swiatek at 54% faces serious competition from Sabalenka and grass-court specialist Rybakina. Full draw analysis, dark horse picks, and first-round upsets to watch.

Wimbledon 2026 starts on June 23, exactly two weeks before the men's final on July 6. The All England Club's grass courts are at their most pristine on day one. By week two, the surviving players will have adapted to the bounce, the conditions, and the unique pressure that Wimbledon — more than any other Grand Slam — generates.

French Open Men’s Day 5 Predictions Including Arthur Rinderknech vs Matteo Berrettini

The stage is set for an exciting fifth day at the French Open with 16 intriguing matches scheduled across the grounds at Roland Garros. As ever, we here at LWOT will be offering our predictions for every match on the schedule, including Frances Tiafoe vs Hubert Hurkacz, Ben Shelton vs Raphael Collignon, and Jannik Sinner vs Juan Manuel Cerundolo. But who will secure their spot in the third round?

Tope: Arthur Rinderknech shook off an early scare to secure an opening-round win and he’ll fancy his chances again at home, where his serve can turn matches into quick-fire contests. But Matteo Berrettini brings a different level of firepower, having roared back from a set down against Fucsovics and finished like a man in full control. Their only previous meeting ended prematurely, so there’s unfinished business here, and with both men leaning heavily on service games, I’ll side with the man with the bigger serve.

Arthur Rinderknech vs Matteo Berrettini Preview & Prediction | 2026 French Open | Second Round

The second-round of the French Open sees Arthur Rinderknech play Matteo Berrettini.

French Open R2 previews and predictions: Rinderknech vs. Berrettini, Shelton vs. Collignon

Second-round action at Roland Garros on Thursday brings Matteo Berrettini up against home crowd favorite Arthur Rinderknech. Ben Shelton faces Belgium’s Raphael Collignon in what could be a tricky afternoon for the American.

Matteo Berrettini is not the player you want to run into on clay in the second round, regardless of what the rankings say. The Italian comes in unseeded and ranked 107th, but his 70-28 career clay record means he’s a factor as long as he’s healthy. Against Marton Fucsovics in the first round, Berrettini was shaky out of the gate before winning three sets in a row as his serve and forehand found their groove. That pattern of warming up slowly and then taking over is vintage Berrettini. His best Roland Garros result was a quarterfinal run in 2021. The courts are playing faster than usual this week, with the heat drying the clay out — which benefits his natural aggression.

Young Aussie exposes horrific comments she copped over eight-second clip: 'Cruel'

A young Aussie has revealed the horrific amount of cyberbullying she received in just a 14-hour window on social media.

Chloe Pink, who is married to North Melbourne Football Club’s Toby Pink, put out an eight-second clip on Instagram of her hugging her husband, and it was seen by more than 10 million people, many of whom had no idea who she was.

All they seemingly knew about the 25-year-old was that she is a size 14 to 16, which is the average size of a woman in Australia, and was married to a footballer.

But Chloe told Yahoo Lifestyle her short video opened up a barrage of nasty comments about her appearance and allegations that her weight was stopping her from getting pregnant.

Alijah Arenas sank into a folding chair, his face buried in a towel, his breathing heavy.

For the last few days, smack dab in the middle of his long-awaited breakthrough at USC, Arenas was sick. He’d spent the last few days worn down and missed practice Tuesday, leaving uncertain his status for Wednesday night’s critical game with No. 10 Illinois until a few hours before tipoff. But the Trojans’ star freshman refused to sit out, resolving instead to tough it out against a true Big Ten contender, even if he wasn’t at 100%.

Illinois 101-65 USC (Feb 18, 2026) Game Recap

LOS ANGELES — — Andrej Stojakovic scored 22 points to lead seven players in double figures and No. 10 Illinois routed Southern California 101-65 on Wednesday night for its 14th win in 16 games.

Blue and orange-clad fans were out in force for the Fighting Illini's first game against the Trojans in Los Angeles since 1975. The Illini (22-5, 13-3 Big Ten) didn't disappoint, leading all the way to maintain a hold on second place in the conference standings behind No. 1 Michigan.

The Illini were up by 22 at halftime, and poured it on to start the second half. They outscored the Trojans 21-10, hitting five 3-pointers and extending the lead to 75-42. Stojakovic capped the spurt with a steal and one-handed slam that drew cheers.

Just two men stand to foil Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s pursuit of a 15-year first at Melbourne Park on Friday when the top four seeds square off in the semifinals of Australian Open 2026.

Not since Novak Djokovic denied Rafael Nadal for three of the four Slams from Wimbledon 2011 to Roland Garros 2012 have two rivals contested four successive major finals between them.

Why Australian Open men’s semifinals with top four seeds still feel one-sided – The Athletic

Novak Djokovic's win over Carlos Alcaraz at last year's Australian Open feels increasingly further away. Clive Brunskill / Getty Images

The Athletic has live coverage of the 2026 Australian Open women’s singles final between Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina.

MELBOURNE, Australia — For the first time in 13 years, the top four men’s seeds have made it to the Australian Open semifinals. The last time that happened at the majors was the 2019 French Open, and after nearly seven years, two closely matched, tense semifinals between the four best players await.

The reality is that as long as the top two seeds are there, their opponents have become something close to an irrelevance. Describing Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, and Alexander Zverev, generally accepted to be the best men’s player never to have won a major, in this way may seem harsh, but that is the extent of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s dominance over the past two years.

Australian Open 2026: Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner face Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic in semi-finals

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have split the past eight Grand Slam titles between them

Going into the Australian Open, few people predicted anything other than Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner meeting again in the men's final.

The pair have contested the past three Grand Slam title matches – Alcaraz winning the French Open and US Open, with Sinner claiming Wimbledon in between – as their rivalry continues to grow.

Now only Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic can prevent the dominant duo meeting in the Melbourne showpiece for the first time.

Spanish world number one Alcaraz plays German third seed Zverev in Friday's first semi-final at 14:30 local time (03:30 GMT), followed by Italian second seed Sinner facing Serb fourth seed Djokovic.

Australian Open Men’s Day 3 Predictions Including Karen Khachanov vs Alex Michelsen

The first round of the Australian Open wraps up on Day 3 as some of the top players in the world make their 2026 Melbourne debuts. No. 15 seed Karen Khachanov squares off against young American Alex Michelsen. Elsewhere around the grounds, Day 3 welcomes Jannik Sinner vs Hugo Gaston, Ben Shelton vs Ugo Humbert, Lorenzo Musetti vs Raphael Collignon, and Taylor Fritz vs Valentin Royer. Offering their insights and predictions are Zain Mustafa, Ilemona Onekutu, and Shane Black. But who will advance?

    Zain
The last time in his career down under, Gael Monfils showed in 2025 that he is willing to save his best tennis for the Majors, despite an injury risk looming in every match he enters. Dane Sweeny has been playing decent tennis recently, but this may be one of the rare cases where the crowd supports an icon over their home player, and why not extend Monfils’ stay in Melbourne for one more match.
    Prediction: Monfils in 5

    Karen Khachanov and Luciano Darderi will be squaring off for the first time in their careers when they clash in round three of the Australian Open on Saturday.Darderi is playing great right now, but he is the essence of a clay-court specialist. All four of the Argentine’s titles have come on the red stuff and prior to this fortnight he had won only two total matches at the two hard-court Grand Slams throughout his career.Khachanov, on the other hand, is a two-time Grand Slam semifinalist (including at the Aussie Open) and has reached four other major quarterfinals. The Russian has looked good so far in Melbourne, ousting tough Americans Alex Michelsen and Nishesh Basavareddy.Pick: Khachanov in 4 #ays-poll-id-6973f7206af68.box-apm { width: 600px; margin: 0 auto !important;
