All truck drivers have escaped with only minor injuries in what police have hailed as “nothing short of a miracle” following an explosive crash involving six semi-trailers which has shut down a major highway south of Sydney.
The Hume Highway has been closed in both directions near Gunning, west of Goulburn, following the collision, which sparked a massive blaze just after 5am.
