Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III has agreed to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Walker is receiving a three-year deal with a $43.05 million base value and $28.7 million fully guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Brady Henderson.
The Chiefs also added a player from the New England Patriots, the Seattle Seahawks' opponent in Super Bowl LV. Defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga and Kansas City agreed to a three-year, $21 million contract that includes $14 million guaranteed, his agents told NFL Network.

The 2026 NFL free agency period kicked off Monday with the opening of the legal tampering period, where prospective free agents are officially able to negotiate with new teams.
Those deals can officially be signed on Wednesday, March 11, at 4 p.m. ET, which marks the official start of the new league year. In addition to those deals, trades that were agreed to prior to the official start of free agency can also become official.
Monday’s action kicked off with the news that the Dolphins will release Tua Tagovailoa, while Travis Kelce is reportedly set on returning to the Chiefs for 2026. Speaking of Kansas City, Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker is reportedly in agreement on a deal to join Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, while wide receiver Alec Pierce is set to return to Indianapolis.

Chiefs signing ex-Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III, MVP of Super Bowl LX, to three-year deal
The Kansas City Chiefs are signing former Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III in a move to upgrade their backfield at the start of free agency, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported.
Walker's deal is for three years and is worth up to $45 million with $28.7 million fully guaranteed, per The Insiders.
The signing cannot become official until when the league year opens on Wednesday.
Walker, 25, is coming off arguably his best season, earning game MVP honors in Super Bowl LX in leading the Seahawks past the Patriots last month. He also led the NFL in postseason rushes (65), rush yards (313) and rushing TDs (four) in three games in January and February.
