One of the world’s most popular creator cameras is about to get a long-awaited follow-up. Overnight, DJI teased a brief glimpse of the Osmo Pocket 4 gimbal camera and confirmed when we’ll get the full reveal.

I’ve been using the fantastic DJI Osmo Pocket 3 since 2023, as have many other creators. Its large one-inch CMOS sensor takes better video than most phones, which is why you see so many of them at any event attended by journalists and creators.

While DJI didn’t show much about the Osmo Pocket 4 in its teaser video, the brand did set expectations for a bigger reveal on 16 April. Speculation is running wild about how the fourth-gen camera will improve on the existing model: will it have a bigger sensor? Multiple cameras? A more weatherproof design?

DJI Delivers Next-Generation Imaging Capabilities With Osmo Pocket 4 Camera

DJI has unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4, the latest version of its 1-inch CMOS pocket gimbal camera, adding 4K/240fps video capture, improved low-light performance and new intelligent tracking features for content creators.

The drone and camera maker has built on the previous Osmo Pocket model with a focus on cinematic quality and streamlined single-handed shooting. The Osmo Pocket 4 offers 14 stops of dynamic range, a 10-bit D-Log colour profile and new tracking tools aimed at keeping moving subjects in frame.

The 1-inch CMOS sensor and f/2.0 aperture are pitched at cleaner portraits in dim environments, with the 14 stops of dynamic range and 10-bit D-Log helping to preserve tones at dusk, by the seaside or in other low-light conditions.

Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann has omitted Bayern Munich midfield star Jamal Musiala from his squad for the friendlies against Switzerland and Ghana at the end of March. This was confirmed by Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl following the Munich side’s 4-1 victory over Atalanta Bergamo on Wednesday evening. Sky and Bild had previously reported the same story.

Due to Musiala’s current injury problems, it was decided, in consultation with FCB and the medical teams involved, not to select the 23-year-old. “He has now completed a week of rehabilitation. Vincent (Bayern coach Vincent Kompany; editor’s note) and Julian (Nagelsmann) are also in contact. He is injured; he will not be travelling to join the national team, but will focus on getting fit. Hopefully, after the international break, he will be fit again to play with us in April and get himself into World Cup shape,” Eberl told DAZN.

Yaya Dukuly and Matthias Macallister scored in stoppage time as Australia lifted themselves from potential elimination to Group D winners in the space of an exhilarating four minutes.

Fortunately, Lebanon advanced to the quarterfinals as it produced an extraordinary 1-0 victory over Iran. South Korea advanced to the tournament as second place in Group C, beating Lebanon (1 win, 2 losses and 3 points) with one win, one draw and one loss (four points). And he's found an unbelievable blend and has threaded a very nice needle of asserting himself, and really not flinching. “Not being afraid, and being on the gas, but also doing it in a way that's not inappropriate with what the rest of the team is doing. He's got a great diet on that. It's really impressive, and he competes on the other end. So, it makes it really easy to ride with him. He played a great game tonight,” Daigneault concluded.
