Following on from her striking Golden Globes moment, Kate dazzled once again in a custom bustier gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline and sculpted peplum waist. The jade green gown, richly embroidered with stones and crystals from the Spring 2026 palette, delivered exactly the kind of glamour that both she and Armani do best.

    Gwyneth Paltrow's Dress Just Took Thigh-High To New Heights At The Oscars

    The 98th Academy Awards took place on Sunday, March 15, and besides finding out who swept all of the categories, there was one very clear winner that ruled the red carpet: thigh-high slit gowns. Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Renate Reinsve, who were both in films nominated for major awards — Marty Supreme and Sentimental Value — clearly got the thigh-high memo.

    Paltrow showed up wearing a Giorgio Armani Privé ivory silk column gown, which was completely sliced open on the side. Reinsve opted for a striking strapless red Louis Vuitton silhouette, with a cut that was almost as dramatic. But these two weren’t the only ones to test out the risqué, leg-baring look. Last year’s Best Actress winner, Mikey Madison returned to the red carpet in a strapless thigh-high, too. She opted for a strapless burgundy velvet ensemble that gathered at her thigh.

    The “Bugonia” actress, 37, wore her auburn hair sleek and delicately curled close to her chin, adding some sparkle to the look with a stack of matching Repossi diamond earrings and rings.

    Stone is no stranger to the Oscars carpet; she accepted her first best actress win in 2017 in a gold beaded Givenchy couture gown and took home her second in 2024 wearing a mint green Louis Vuitton design with a seashell-inspired peplum.

    Timothée Chalamet Makes Oscars History With ‘Marty Supreme’ as Youngest Man With Three Acting Noms

    The A-list actor Timothée Chalamet has earned his third best actor nomination at the Oscars. His latest nom is for his turn as table tennis protege Marty Mauser in Josh Safdie’s sports dramedy “Marty Supreme.” At 30, Chalamet has become the youngest male actor to earn three acting nominations. His previous bids were for “Call Me by Your Name” (2017) (which made him the third-youngest nominee ever in the category at 22 years old) and “A Complete Unknown” (2024).

    In this year’s best actor race, Chalamet is nominated alongside Leonardo DiCaprio (“One Battle After Another”), Ethan Hawke (“Blue Moon”), Michael B. Jordan (“Sinners”) and Wagner Moura (“The Secret Agent”). “Marty Supreme” also picked up nominations for best picture and best original screenplay, among other categories.

    Timothée Chalamet makes history with 2026 Oscar nomination

    The Academy Awards are keeping up with Timothée Chalamet’s work.

    The “Wonka” star, 30, has earned his third Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his role in “Marty Supreme.”

    Chalamet is now the youngest male actor in history to garner three nods in that category.

    He was first nominated in 2018 for “Call Me By Your Name,” and again in 2025 for his performance as Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown.”

    Now, after taking on the role as a professional ping-pong player opposite Gwyneth Paltrow, he’s scored his third nomination.

    During last year’s Oscars, Chalamet lost to Adrien Brody for Best Actor in “The Brutalist.”
