    Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's daughter Daisy Dove celebrated her sixth birthday at Legoland California Resort. See photos of her adorable family trip to the theme park.

    The "California Gurls" singer rang in Daisy Dove's sixth birthday with a Lego-themed celebration complete with a family trip to Legoland California Resort in Carlsbad. 

    "Daisy Dove is 6 legooooooo!" Perry, who shares her daughter with ex Orlando Bloom, wrote on Instagram Aug. 25. "Building so many memories—thanks @legolandcalifornia for making everything click."

    In one photo of their visit to the theme park, Daisy—donning a pink shirt reading "birthday girl," blush-colored bell bottoms and a rattan visor—held hands with a friend. Another image showed her meeting a Lego minifigure mascot.

In a new Instagram post shared on August 25, the "Firework" singer took a moment to celebrate a major milestone for Daisy as she turned 6. The mother and daughter spent a day enjoying Legoland in California to mark the occasion.

    Australia will meet West Indies in the first semi-final while it's tournament over for the reigning one-day world champions

    Ellyse Perry and Ashleigh Gardner have powered Australia to a record-breaking T20 World Cup win at Lord's, knocking India out of the tournament with an emphatic six-wicket win.

    With India needing to topple Australia to advance to the semi-finals, Harmanpreet Kaur's 27-ball 56 powered her team to 4-170, leaving their rivals needing to pull off the highest chase in the tournament's history.

    A tight start had Australia 3-85 after 9.1 overs, but Perry (56 from 38) and Gardner (53no from 29) came together in a 100-run fourth-wicket stand to take Australia home with six balls to spare, vanquishing their fierce rivals in the process.

    It was the quintessential Australian performance. They had no need for a win in their fifth and last group game, having already qualified for a Women’s T20 World Cup semi-final by winning their first four. India, conversely, desperately needed one to qualify. And it looked as if they had it, after a late surge with the bat to reach 170, then an early squeeze to have Australia needing 86 from eight overs.

    Then in a trice it was gone, as an accelerating century stand from Ellyse Perry and Ash Gardner squashed the world-record chase with an over and six wickets to spare. Ruthless, nerveless, pitiless.

    Perry and Gardner dominate India to get World Cup revenge

    Australia has beaten India by six wickets to reach the T20 World Cup semifinals in emphatic fashion.

    Ellyse Perry (56 off 38) and Ash Gardner (53* off 29) were the stars for Australia in the record run chase.

    Australia will face the West Indies in the semifinal at The Oval on Tuesday (11:30pm AEST).

    Australia has powered ruthlessly into the semifinals of the Women's T20 World Cup, hammering India by six wickets at Lord's to maintain their unbeaten record while sending their rivals spinning out of the tournament.

    It was the fifth and final sentencing in the two-and-a-half year investigation and prosecution that followed Perry's death at age 54.

    The personal assistant who injected Matthew Perry with ketamine several times with no medical training, including on the day the Friends actor was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles residence, was sentenced to three years and five months in prison on Wednesday.

    Kenneth Iwamasa, 61, had pleaded guilty to distributing ketamine that resulted in death or serious bodily injury. The sentence handed down to him matched what prosecutors requested.

    Iwamasa’s sentencing will cap the criminal investigation into the five people authorities say played a role in Perry’s overdose death in 2023.

    Perry's assistant sentenced to 41 months in prison

    A personal assistant who injected Friends star Matthew Perry with a fatal dose of the hallucinogenic drug ketamine has been sentenced ‌to three years and five months in federal prison, bringing to a close the prosecution of five people who ‌admitted to playing roles in the actor's death.

    Judge Sherilyn Garnett delivered the 41-month sentence for Kenneth Iwamasa, the person ‌who found Perry floating face down and lifeless in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home in October 2023.

    THE NBL1 West Women’s competition began for season 2026 on Wednesday night, with Chloe Forster leading her side to victory as the Warwick Senators defeated the Perry Lakes Hawks by 13 points in the opener for the fixture.

    The Senators got a huge boost over the offseason when they retained 2026 WNBL champion Forster to the roster, with the 22-year-old getting the job done with the Townsville Fire recently. She was given the captaincy and was set to be a star for a Warwick side that is looking to go all the way out west in the coming months.

    The team’s performance at Warwick Stadium on Wednesday night was certainly promising when it comes to achieving that goal. The Senators blew the game open in the second frame to jump out to a 14-point lead at the main change and although the Hawks managed to break even in the second half (an impressive feat given the personnel they lost over the offseason), it was not enough as the hosts managed a 13-point win.

    Nbl1 West opener: Forster fantastic and the night Warwick Stadium felt inevitable

    The nbl1 west season opened at Warwick Stadium with Chloe Forster steering the Warwick Senators to a 13-point victory over the Perry Lakes Hawks, a performance that felt part statement, part promise for the campaign ahead.

    Perry Bamonte, guitarist and keyboardist for the Cure, dies aged 65

    Perry Bamonte, longtime guitarist and keyboard player for the Cure, has died aged 65.

    The musician, known affectionately as Teddy, passed away after a short illness over Christmas, the band announced on their website.

    The band described the musician as “quiet, intensive, intuitive, constant and hugely creative”, calling him a “vital part of the Cure story”.

    “Looking after the band from 1984 through 1989, he became a full member of the Cure in 1990, playing guitar, six-string bass and keyboard on the Wish (1992), Wild Mood Swings (1996), Bloodflowers (2000), Acoustic Hits (2001), and the Cure (2004) albums,” the band wrote on their website.

    The Cure guitarist and keyboard player Perry Bamonte has died aged 65, the band have said.

    The veteran British rock band said Bamonte died "after a short illness at home", in a statement on their website, which they said was posted with "enormous sadness". 

    It read: "Quiet, intensive, intuitive, constant and hugely creative, 'Teddy' was a warm hearted and vital part of The Cure story.
