    Cyrus posed for the cover of Variety ahead of the Disney+ special and sat down for a wide-ranging interview about re-embracing the show, navigating public scrutiny in her teenage years and whether she’d headline the Super Bowl halftime show (the answer is maybe).

    Miley Cyrus had some true friends by her side at her Walk of Fame ceremony on May 22, including Anya Taylor- Joy, who shared how much she was inspired by the Hannah Montana alum. 

    But instead of writing her name in the sand, the star’s moniker has earned a permanent spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as she became the 2,845th star on Hollywood Boulevard during the May 22 ceremony. 

    For the occasion, Miley was honored by friend Anya Taylor-Joy, who detailed how she’s been inspired by the Hannah Montana alum ever since first seeing Miley in an ad for the series when Anya was 10 years old.

    King's speech to Congress hits on several Trump controversies

    King Charles III has delivered a speech to the US Congress heavy on sentiment about the "special relationship" between the two nations. 

    He did not explicitly mention the many ways that relationship was fraying.

    But he did push the case for global cooperation and talk up the NATO alliance, which the Trump administration has been increasingly critical of.

    US President Donald Trump did not attend the king's speech due to protocol. 

    But at an earlier welcome ceremony at the White House, he told the king he "would love to go" and would watch remotely.

    "I was thinking of going but they said, 'I don't know. That might be a step too far,'" Mr Trump said.

    Gregory Caulier has attempted to quash rumours that Mask actor was replaced by a heavily made-up impersonator for his appearance picking up an honorary award in Paris

    The organiser of the César awards has sought to debunk reports that a lookalike stood in for Jim Carrey at last week’s ceremony.

    In a statement sent to Variety on Monday, Gregory Caulier, general delegate of the Césars, said the controversy was a “non-issue” and testified to Carrey’s investment in the event, which had been in the planning since last summer.

    “From the outset, he was extremely touched by the Academy’s invitation,” wrote Caulier. “Eight months of ongoing, constructive discussions. He worked on his speech in French for months, asking me about the exact pronunciation of certain words.”

    César Awards Say Jim Carrey ‘Worked on His Speech in French for Months’ Amid Clone Conspiracy Theory: His ‘Visit Had Been Planned Since the Summer’ (EXCLUSIVE)

    If anything, the swirling impersonation rumors surrounding Jim Carrey’s honorary appearance at the César Awards in Paris may be a testament to the enduring cult status of his wild performances in films like “The Truman Show” and “The Mask.”
