We put the call out to the Riverina to find one local act to join the stacked 2026 One Night Stand line-up, and we’re so excited to introduce the hip-hop artist bringing a raw, authentically local energy to his music…

His latest track, ‘MY BOONDI’, explores Blak survival, urban struggle and the warrior spirit, while offering a powerful reflection of Yung Brother’s pride in his Bundjalung and Wiradjuri identity.

Now, Yung Brother is heading to the Griffith Showground on 5 September to take his place alongside Ninajirachi, DMA’S, Genesis Owusu + more at triple j’s One Night Stand.

From uploading his music to triple j Unearthed to earning his spot on one of the biggest line-ups of the year (even if we say so ourselves), this is a massive moment for a local artist with plenty more to say.

Kehlani adds Australian dates to their massive world tour

The R&B powerhouse that is Kehlani has finally announced their return to Australia, with a string of down under dates on their massive world tour.

With their latest self-titled album well settled in, the Grammy Award-winning icon will hit stages in arenas across the country in February.

Kicking off in Boorloo/Perth on February 18, the Australian leg of Kehlani's world tour will head east for a run of dates up the coast, rounding out in Meanjin/Brisbane on February 25.

She won't be alone on that stage either, joining them on the return to our shores will be Destin Conrad, bringing his incredible range of jazz, alt-R&B and reggae sounds to get the crowd moving each night.

Kehlani Australia 2027 Tour

One of pillars of modern R&B redefining contemporary soul music, Kehlani brings her world tour to Australia in 2027.

The 'Nights Like This' and 'Gangsta' hitmaker will headline concerts in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane next February.

The global run of shows is packaged with the album cycle for Kehlani's self-titled fifth studio album that was released earlier this year. "I am honoured to present you with the album. Enjoy it. Live in it. Love through it."

It's led by 'Folded', which won two Grammy Awards earlier this year: Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.

BTS stand to make $1bn as they announce mammoth comeback tour

K-pop idols BTS have announced a globe-spanning, 79-date world tour, marking their return to the stage after a four-year hiatus.

With dates in London, Tokyo, Munich, Sydney and Los Angeles, it's likely to be one of the biggest tours of the year, especially as the band haven't played outside of the US and South Korea since 2018.

Their previous world tour set records for a K-pop act – earning about $246 million (£182 million) at the global box office. Along the way, BTS became the first Korean act to headline Wembley Stadium.

The new tour will kick off with three nights in South Korea's Goyang Stadium on 9 April, 2026, before setting off across Asia, Europe and America.

When the worldâ€™s biggest K-pop group announced their hiatus in late 2022, they were at the height of superstardom. They regularly topped music charts, won prestigious awards, and arguably transformed the genre into a global cultural phenomenon.

Now, BTS is back â€“ and coming to a city near you. As the clock struck midnight on Wednesday in Seoul, the group announced the dates and locations of a highly anticipated world tour, with their new album expected to release in March â€“ the bandâ€™s first in nearly four years.

In what will be their biggest tour yet, BTS will perform across 34 regions, starting in April with multiple concerts in Goyang, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan, before traveling to other cities across Asia, North America, Europe, South America and Australia. The tour is currently scheduled to conclude in Manila, Philippines in March 2027, though a message on the bandâ€™s website said more dates would be announced in Japan, the Middle East â€œand moreâ€.

It’s official: BTS are back! For those who are fans of the K-Pop group, it’s been a long time coming. Nine years, in fact.

While the group have been active throughout the global pandemic and performed a small run of shows in Seoul, Busan, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, it’s been a long time since ARMY outside those cities have been able to see the members in concert.

Is This Thing On? follows couple Alex (Will Arnett) and Tess Novak (Laura Dern), who have both amicably agreed to end their marriage. He turns out to be quite good at making people laugh, and while using comedy as a form of therapy, Alex and Tess begin to see they’re more compatible apart than they ever were together.

When it comes to things that tend to make people unhappy, I imagine divorce is pretty high up on that list. It’s even worse when the two partners have been married for decades, and if that’s not bad enough, have young kids on top of it. At a glance, it’s not a good situation for anybody, but just like marriage isn’t all sunshine and roses, perhaps divorce isn’t all doom and gloom.

How the life of UK comic John Bishop became Bradley Cooper’s latest directing effort ‘Is This Thing On?’

It was the autumn of 2022, and Bradley Cooper was on a short break between two shooting blocks of his film Maestro, and returning from Los Angeles to New York. Will Arnett – his friend for more than two decades – was flying in the same direction to meet up with his London-based writing partner Mark Chappell and continue work on their screenplay for a relationship-comedy film.

Taking the same flight together, Cooper asked Arnett what he was working on. It was then that Arnett shared the premise of Is This Thing On?, and its perhaps unlikely inspiration: how Liverpool-born pharmaceutical salesman John Bishop, feeling low during the dissolution of his marriage, had entered a Manchester bar hosting an open-mic comedy night, put his name down on the performer list to evade the entrance charge, and found himself in front of an audience improvising material about his own divorce. Bishop returned to the stage in subsequent weeks, using stand-up as personal therapy, and finally pivoting to a career in comedy. Along the way, stand-up also provided the key to mending his broken marriage.
