    Home and Away confirms return of fan-favourites 10 years after exit for "epic" event

    Home and Away has confirmed the return of fan-favourite couple Darryl "Brax" Braxton and Ricky Sharpe in an "epic" event – 10 years after their exits from the show.

    The pair – who are played by Stephen Peacocke and Bonnie Sveen – will return to our screens in special episodes filmed in Western Australia, which are set to begin airing on Friday 17 April 2026.

    According to a press release, the special episodes will follow Brax, Ricky and their son Casey (Austin Cutcliffe), who have quietly built a whole new life for themselves working on a cattle station deep in the WA outback.

    But their peaceful existence is threatened when a desperate Tane (Ethan Browne) – framed for a crime he didn’t commit – lands on their doorstep hoping that Brax can help him disappear.

    New York | President Donald Trump can command the world’s attention with a single post on social media. Yet, a new documentary film about first lady Melania Trump is struggling to fill theatres.

    Boxoffice.com, a market researcher, projects $US1 million ($1.4 million) to $US2 million in opening weekend ticket sales for Melania in the United States. Ticketing websites show plenty of seats available for the January 30 debut and the days ahead. NRG, another forecaster, sees about $US5 million, according to the news site Puck.

    The Department of Justice has been hemorrhaging staff under President Donald Trump, with thousands of attorneys leaving and few being hired to replace them, according to a new report.

    Since January, nearly 5,500 DOJ career employees have quit, taken a buyout, or been fired, according to Justice Connection, an advocacy group composed of department alumni.

    DOJ in Crisis as Applicants Flunk the ‘Favorite Trump Policy’ Test

    A new loyalty test for prospective hires has left the Justice Department with thousands of vacancies and a mounting case backlog.

    Trump’s DOJ has experienced a sharp decline in applicants—especially qualified ones—in large part because of the partisan hiring process, The Washington Post reported on Monday.

    As part of the vetting process, Justice Department applicants have been required to gush over their favorite Trump executive order or policy and detail how they would move it forward, the Post reported.

    Career positions like those at the DOJ are designed to be nonpolitical—but experts described this question as a “workaround.”
