Latrell running risk of suspension after Souths star learns fate over ugly act

Latrell Mitchell has once again escaped a sanction for an ugly act against the Dragons on Saturday night, but the NRL could still yet take action. Mitchell was at his brilliant best in South Sydney's 30-12 victory, scoring four tries to hand the Dragons their 11th loss in a row and seventh this year.

But he once again committed an 'unnecessary' act that had the potential to cause serious injury to an opponent. Early in the first half with Souths up 4-0, Mitchell was called off-side on a Cody Walker grubber towards the in-goal.

Well after the whistle had already been blown, Mitchell grabbed Dragons half Daniel Atkinson and flung him back towards the in-goal, sending him crashing into the post. Dragons players remonstrated with Mitchell, who appeared to regret his actions.

Fans Are Blown Away By How Different This 2000s Heartthrob Looked Before His Nose Injury

Chad Michael Murray started his career as a model, working with brands like Gucci and Sketchers. In 2000, he broke into acting, making a name for himself as Tristan Dugray on Gilmore Girls. He went on to star in One Tree Hill, where he played Lucas Scott from 2003 to 2009. Although the actor has always been viewed as a heartthrob, he has admitted that he is self-conscious about some of his physical features.

“I don’t like my nose,” the star admitted. “Because it’s not my nose. I got jumped in a Burger King and my nose surgery was a couple posts, pop it back into place, hold two tennis balls at Cedar Sinai, and there you go.”

Chad Michael Murray Reveals a Surprising Truth About His Famous Face

There’s no doubt that Chad Michael Murray has a famous face thanks to his popular roles on shows like “One Tree Hill” (2003–09, 2012) and “Sullivan’s Crossing” (2023–present), not to mention in movies, including “Freaky Friday” (2003) and “A Cinderella Story” (2004). Of course, we can’t forget his swoon-worthy romance and festive holiday-themed Hallmark movies.

However, it turns out that the star may have looked very different if it weren’t for a shocking incident that took place when he was just a teenager.

As hard as it might be to believe, the photo above is, indeed, a shot of Chad Michael Murray. It happens to be his yearbook photo from back in 1999.

Death in Paradise's Selwyn stunned as old foe returns in first-look clip

Death in Paradise took a particularly sinister turn in last week's episode when Mervin travelled to Antigua to smooth things over with his brother Solomon – only to find himself taken hostage.

Naomi had encouraged him to make the trip after the DI confided in her that he blamed himself for the pair going their separate ways. After getting off on the wrong foot – which included Solomon asking Mervin to lend him some money, despite only just meeting, and then stealing the detective's belongings when he refused – Mervin gave him what for when he finally got a hold of his wheeler dealer sibling.

Death In Paradise star lets slip Mervin's future on show after terrifying twist

Death In Paradise star Daniel Ward has teased DI Mervin Wilson is in grave danger on the BBC detective drama. Things took a worrying turn for Mervin – played by Don Gilet – last week when he headed to Antigua.

In search for his brother Solomon, played by Daniel, it's clear things go awry when Mervin ends up being kidnapped – but what happened and will he make it out alive?

Speaking about Mervin's fate, Daniel exclusively told The Mirror: "He is in grave danger. There is a real pressure. This episode is epic. It's a huge amount of resources and effort and everyone pulls together in their own way to help him."

Death in Pardise star warns fans to watch as Solomon's 'mask slips' in horror kidnap

Death in Paradise star Daniel Ward has warned fans to watch out as DI Mervin Wilson faces serious peril in the beloved BBC detective series. Last week’s episode saw Mervin, played by Don Gilet, take the leap of faith to go to Antigua in a shocking twist. Whilst searching for his brother Solomon, portrayed by Daniel, matters quickly spiral out of control as the episode ends with Mervin presumably kidnapped and strapped to a chair.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the actor revealed that things are only going to get worse for the trusting detective in the highly anticipated episode, which airs on Monday (March 9). He told us: “His brother is a troublemaker, and he’s made some trouble. Mervin has gone to find his brother and has ended up, seemingly, kidnapped in Antigua, and I think it’s a sad realisation of what the brothers thought might happen.

Finn Allen’s record ton blasts New Zealand past South Africa into T20 World Cup final

South Africa won every match they could afford to lose in this tournament and then lost the first one that they had to win.

They were completely marmalised by New Zealand, who won the first semi-final by nine wickets. Finn Allen ripped through South Africa’s feared fast bowling attack, and hit an unbeaten hundred off just 33 balls. It was the fastest century in the history of the competition, and, as Allen said himself, the innings of his life. Only two batters have ever hit a faster ton in international T20 cricket.

South Africa’s captain, Aiden Markram, blamed the change in conditions for throwing off his team. “We’ll reflect as a group,” he said. “We’ll let the emotions settle first and foremost and once they do we’ll get back on the horse and try and get better. But we’re obviously hugely disappointed with the result, it feels like we’ve been slapped in the face.”

A 33-ball century to Finn Allen helps New Zealand to a nine-wicket win over South Africa in the first men's T20 World Cup semifinal.

The Proteas entered the knockout match with an unbeaten record at the tournament.

India and England face off in the second semifinal on Friday morning AEDT.

South Africa coach Shukri Conrad has described his side's nine-wicket defeat to New Zealand in the men's T20 World Cup semifinals as a "bloody walloping".

The Proteas went into the match at Kolkata's Eden Gardens as the only unbeaten team in the tournament.
