NBA ref Ben Taylor hurt, replaced by alternate during Warriors-Clips game

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Referee Ben Taylor left the play-in tournament game between the Golden State Warriors and the LA Clippers because of an injury Wednesday night.

Taylor walked stiffly off the court and went up the tunnel behind one basket at Intuit Dome with 8:51 left in the third quarter. He was replaced by alternate referee Sean Corbin after a brief delay.

The NBA sends a fourth alternate referee to every postseason game for exactly such a situation.

Taylor is an 11-year NBA veteran referee. Corbin is in his 31st season on the job.

Referee Ben Taylor left Wednesday’s NBA Play-In Tournament game between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers in the third quarter due to an apparent injury. Standby official Sean Corbin stepped in to take over.

The game entered a brief delay with 8:51 left in the third quarter as the officials headed toward the scorer’s table. Taylor appeared to have a slight limp as he walked off the court and went back to the locker room for further evaluation. Corbin then jumped into action as the alternate referee before Kristaps Porzingis shot two free throws.

It’s unclear when or how Taylor got injured. Regardless, it appears Corbin will finish out the game to round out the crew alongside James Williams and Karl Lane for Warriors vs. Clippers in the NBA Play-In Tournament.

The creator of Yellowstone, Landman, and The Madison is hosting the second annual Bosque Ranch Live concert and festival on September 12 at his working ranch in Weatherford, Texas. Headlining the musical performances are two locally-based artists: the Austin-founded band Shane Smith & The Saints, and singer-songwriter Tanner Usrey.

But for fans of Sheridan's shows, the bigger draw may be what's happening off the stage. New this year, the weekend will include the Bosque Ranch Speaker Series, featuring conversations with several of the creative figures behind Sheridan's shows. Costume designer Janie Bryant, who won an Emmy for designing the costumes on the HBO western Deadwood in 2005, composer Andrew Lockington, writers Ian Roylance and Carla Curry, and producer Andrea von Foerster will each offer their insider perspectives at the making of Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Landman, and The Madison as well as Mayor of Kingstown.

Taylor Sheridan's Crime Masterpiece Is Saying Goodbye To Streaming This April

Taylor Sheridan's Oscar-nominated action crime thriller masterpiece is set to leave streaming this month.

Sheridan began his career as an actor, with roles in TV shows like Veronica Mars and Walker, Texas Ranger, before a multi-season arc as Deputy Chief David Hale in the hit FX series Sons of Anarchy. After success as an actor, Sheridan turned to screenwriting, penning acclaimed movies such as Hell or High Water and Wind River.

A source tells Page Six that the save-the-dates for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding have gone out.

And the big day is set for the Big Apple on July 3!

The news comes as a surprise, as there have been several reports that the pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs champ were eyeing Rhode Island — where Swift owns a large estate next door to a hotel — for the nuptials.

However, a source told Page Six back in November that the pair was thinking about scrapping that idea and going “all out” at a totally different venue that can accommodate more attendees.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have returned to the spotlight, this time driven by a set of previously unseen photos that fans believe were taken at a wedding. Several pointed out that the images likely date back to a wedding Swift attended as Kelce’s plus-one, widely believed to be his cousin Tanner Corum’s ceremony in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he married Samantha Peck.

U.S. Olympic bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor is in second place after the first two women’s monobob heats at the Milan Cortina Games.

And the last person who would be surprised by that is Taylor herself.

“My nickname for people who know me most is E-Money,” Taylor told NBC News from her room in Cortina, Italy prior to competing. “I’m money under pressure.”

That unwavering confidence, backed by elite skill and discipline, has propelled the 41-year-old Douglasville, Georgia, native to become the most decorated female bobsledder and Black Winter Olympian ever. These are two feats she said she never sought to accomplish. But other Black Olympic greats before her, like Shani Davis, Vonetta Flowers and her current teammate Erin Jackson, continue to motivate her.

Angus Taylor becomes Liberal leader

Angus Taylor is the leader of the federal Liberal Party after prevailing in a partyroom meeting in Canberra.

He replaces Sussan Ley, the first woman to hold the role, who was removed after just nine months.

Mr Taylor won by a comfortable margin with 34 votes to Ms Ley's 17, according to several Liberals present.

Jane Hume was chosen as deputy leader, the first senator to hold the role since 1990.

Four candidates nominated including incumbent Ted O'Brien, Dan Tehan and Melissa Price.

Ms Price was eliminated first with two votes, and then Mr Tehan in the second round with 11 votes.

Sussan Ley took this job with ambition and promise. But things soon unravelled

In the weeks after she was narrowly elected by her colleagues as the federal Liberal Party’s first female leader, Sussan Ley sounded full of the optimism that often comes with fresh starts.

She promised to be a new leader, with a new tone, new team and new agenda. She wanted to move her party to the so-called sensible centre. She would win back Australian women, young people, cities and multicultural communities. She was going to listen to her colleagues, and forge a cohesive and consultative party room process that catered to a range of views.

Those many promises made for a mighty assignment. Nine months later, they’re mostly unfulfilled.

The music legend, 77, shared his top five James Taylor tracks when he stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Thursday.

"Paul McCartney got in touch with me at one point…" Taylor recalled. "He commented on a song that I had written, said he really liked it, that he bought the album because of it, so that's got to go in there. That's called 'Mean Old Man.'"

"I know that Bruce Springsteen liked my song and performed it once," he added, referring to "Mill Worker," from the album Flag.
