British actor Tim Curry, best known for his portrayal of Dr Frank N. Furter in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, has died aged 80.

The actor, who was also renowned for his role as Pennywise the Clown in the original 1990s adaption of Stephen King's It, had been struggling with ill health for some time.

Curry appeared in numerous movies, often as a hammy villain, was nominated three times for a Tony Award for Broadway roles, and performed voice work in many animated films and TV shows.

But his best-known role was Dr Frank N. Furter, which came in his debut film, the outrageous, crowd-pleasing horror-comedy-musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show, co-starring Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick.

‘I’m fighting Tim next’: Huge Tszyu twist as US superstar says blockbuster is ON

Tim Tszyu could be headed straight from one blockbuster showdown into another.

Tszyu v Mahoney | Wednesday August 26 from 7pm AEST | The only thing standing between Nikita and an IBF world title shot is Ben Mahoney. The stage is set for an All-Australian blockbuster with the winner securing a direct shot at IBF champion, Josh Kelly. | Order Now with Main Event on Kayo Sports.

Former undisputed world champion Jermell Charlo has sensationally declared he is next in line for the Aussie superstar, almost four years after the pair were first supposed to throw down.

Fresh from his career-best victory over Errol Spence Jr in Sydney last month, Tszyu has suddenly found himself back on the radar of another of American boxing’s biggest names.

Former undisputed champion says he is fighting Tim Tszyu next: “We're working on the location”

Tim Tszyu scored a career-best win over Errol Spence Jr last time out, and now it seems as though the Aussie will take on another tough assignment, with a showdown against a former undisputed world champion supposedly in the works.

Tszyu was knocked out by Sebastian Fundora for a second time in their rematch for the WBC super-welterweight world title last year, but the 31-year-old has responded with a trifecta of wins on home soil and has recently appointed Australian boxing legend, Jeff Fenech, as his lead trainer.

Last month, he handed Spence Jr a final career defeat, with the Texan announcing his retirement during the aftermath, whilst Tszyu looked poised to challenge Erislandy Lara for the WBA middleweight title after unveiling plans to make a permanent switch to the 160lb division.

‘Not OK’: Tszyu’s shock weight reveal may force world title twist amid bizarre ‘erection’ warning

Nikita Tszyu has thrown a surprise twist into any potential blockbuster with IBF super welterweight champ Josh Kelly – conceding he couldn’t safely complete the required rehydration policy.

Speaking with Fox Sports Australia, ‘The Butcher’ has also addressed growing talk of a Michael Zerafa rematch, while also warning outspoken American Tony Harrison how “he doesn’t want me taking him on with an erection …”

Tim Daly's Sweet Comments About Marriage With Téa Leoni Prove Why They're A Perfect Pairing

Tim Daly and Téa Leoni have a lot in common. The two actors first got together after they played spouses in the TV series "Madame Secretary," and they crossed paths even earlier when Daly starred on "Wings." In addition, they've both previously been in long-term marriages to other actors and have kids from those relationships. In Leoni's case, she was married to David Duchovny until they divorced in 2014. Happily, the second time seems to be the charm for Leoni and Daly. They married in July 2025, and months later, Daly provided heartwarming insights into their dynamic.

Although their romance started in 2014, Daly relished this new level of commitment. "It's kind of amazing because it is a little different," he informed LifeMinute in November 2025. "It's better." He elaborated by explaining that he and his wife have a deep emotional connection. "We actually talk about everything including the bad stuff," Daly added. "It just creates an atmosphere of real trust."

Fans Were Devastated By Téa Leoni's Divorce, But Now She's Doing Better Than Ever

When Téa Leoni and her ex-husband David Duchovny divorced in 2014 after 17 years of marriage due to "an irretrievable breakdown" of their relationship, fans were devastated. Not only were they a rare example of a celebrity couple who would age gracefully together, but Leoni appeared on Duchovny's mega-hit show "The X-Files" as a meta version of his character Fox Mulder's partner, Dana Scully. Plus, Leoni and Duchovny have two kids together who grew up to be gorgeous.

It's sad for a lot of people when celebrity marriages end, because the public roots for them to succeed. But both Duchovny and Leoni are doing fine. The "Californication" star married florist Monique Pendleberry in February  2025. The couple lives a very private life, but had been dating since 2017. And life imitated art for Leoni when she married her "Madam Secretary" co-star and on-screen husband, Tim Daly, in July 2025 after more than a decade of dating. So, the Duchovny children, Kyd and West Duchovny, had a busy year of celebrating.

The Forgotten '90s Sitcom Starring Téa Leoni That Deserves More Attention

If you loved Téa Leoni as the leading lady in "Madam Secretary," you definitely aren't alone. But, did you know her back when she starred in "Flying Blind"? If this '90s sitcom wasn't on your radar, you're not alone in that. The one-season comedy is one that Leoni looks back on fondly, and it might be worth revisiting.

Leoni was just 26 years old when "Flying Blind" premiered on Fox in 1992. The star played Alicia, the independent, uninhibited girlfriend of the more uptight Neil, played by Corey Parker. While the series only lasted for 22 episodes, it featured some impressive cameos, including "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow and "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Peter Boyle. "Flying Blind" didn't quite have the success of other sitcoms of that era. As a result, it hasn't exactly had the staying power that others have enjoyed. Yet, Leoni would have liked to see the series last a bit longer.

'We were weird': Tim Finn on Split Enz's rise

Split Enz's latest line-up features Neil and Tim Finn, Eddie Rayner, Noel Crombie, James Milne and Matt Eccles. (Supplied: Karen Inderbitzen-Waller)

It's 1972 and two shy but gifted 20-year-old New Zealanders have locked themselves away with their guitars and a strong creative impulse.

"We wrote two songs in one night in this little flat we shared in Auckland, and they were gold to us," Tim Finn, one of those young men, tells Double J's Karen Leng.

Tim Finn joins Karen Leng on Double J to talk about getting Split Enz back together, reuniting for their first Australian shows in over 15 years.

It’s been a long wait, but this reunion gig did not disappoint

Nostalgia acts are supposed to take you back to a specific time in your life, but Split Enz disbanded in 1984, before I was born, so I guess I am nostalgic for my entire life. Their music permeated every inch of my upbringing in Aotearoa New Zealand, and this reunion tour, their first in almost 20 years, didn’t disappoint.

The band takes the stage under the cover of a golden cloth. Out burst four early members of the Split Enz and two newer recruits, all dressed in outrageous two-piece suits. On the stage there is double everything: two percussionists, two pianists, two guitarists, two brothers, in an ever-rotating musical arrangement that demonstrates the extraordinary capabilities of everyone in the band.

Always one step ahead, the new wave innovators are not done yet – and their hair is bigger than ever

Many things can kill you in the music business. For Split Enz, New Zealand’s first internationally successful rock group, the most lethal poison was hairspray – or it should have been. “How did I not die?” marvels bandleader Tim Finn, whose head – at its vertiginous peak – resembled an upturned paintbrush.

Sitting next to him, percussionist Noel Crombie grins as Finn continues the story. “Noel would lacquer merciless amounts of this toxic spray … the makeup would start to run but the hair would just somehow … sit there.”

After all these decades, Split Enz still has the magic

Split Enz’s Stuff and Nonsense is among my favourite songs. But it is the song of a young man, a 27-year-old Tim Finn.

“I can give you the present, I don’t know ‘bout the future. That’s all stuff and nonsense.”

The lyrics reveal a man uncertain of himself and of what will happen next. It is a song of nervousness about where things will end up. Listening to the song now on Spotify, and you hear the fear in Tim Finn’s vocals.

Forty-seven years later, and on stage in real life, he has lived that life. Split Enz ended, Tim went solo, his little brother’s band Crowded House went global, and he is now approaching the other end of an illustrious career in music.

A family pack of Arnott’s Tim Tams, Oreos, laundry powder, dog bones and other items will be at the heart of Woolworths’ courtroom stand-off this week with Australia’s consumer watchdog, which has accused the retail giant of selling groceries through discounts that weren’t real.

When the blockbuster case resumes in Sydney’s Federal Court on Tuesday, Woolworths’ lawyers will deny the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s accusations that it sold pantry staples in its “Prices Dropped” program at the same or an even higher price.

Woolworths ‘fundamentally disagrees’ with ACCC price deception case

Woolworths will vigorously defend itself in a blockbuster court case brought by the competition regulator, which alleges that it and rival Coles misled shoppers by claiming to have dropped prices in special promotions when they had actually increased them.

Coles, the nation’s second-largest supermarket operator, made its defence against the allegations in February in the Federal Court, with the final judgment reserved until Woolworths presents its case. Woolworths’ hearing begins on Tuesday.
