Australia's Karis Davidson has positioned herself for a big LPGA Tour prizemoney cheque as runaway leader Hyo Joo Kim eyes a second Founders Cup victory.

South Korean star Kim played the first six holes in six under on Saturday before stalling at the tree-lined Sharon Heights course in California, leaving her with a five-stroke lead over American Nelly Korda as both shots six-under 66s.

Josh Carr, one game into his tenure as Port Adelaide coach, has admitted his first blunder.

Carr says his messaging likely led to his players underestimating strugglers North Melbourne in round one.

Carr's head coaching career then began with a humbling 46-point loss to the Kangaroos.

"And it started from me. It started from what I felt, in some ways, I may have led the players down that path.

"We talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition team.

PGA Tour 2026 money list: Jacob Bridgeman leads, Nico Echavarria climbs

The season-long race to see which players can earn the most cash on the PGA Tour is off and running. With more than $400 million in combined purses up for grabs in 2026, there's plenty of money to go around.

Scottie Scheffler concluded the 2025 season by leading the Tour with $27.7 million in winnings, followed by Tommy Fleetwood ($18.5 million) and Rory McIlroy ($17 million).

With a win at the Cognizant Classic of the Palm Beaches, Nico Echavarria jumped into the top 10 of this season's money list. With his victory, Echavarria took home $1.728 million and earns a spot in the 2026 Masters.

Here's a look at where the top pros stand on the season money list as of March 03, 2026.

Jacob Bridgeman atop PGA Tour money list despite Nico Echavarria's victory

Jacob Bridgeman's lead on the PGA Tour money list was going to be safe this week at the Cognizant Classic, no matter what happened.

But Nico Echavarria's third victory and first on an event that wasn't opposite a Signature tournament gave him quite the bump.

Bridgeman, who has won more than $5 million this season, will have a tougher job holding his lead at this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando. It's a Signature Event, so the big guns on Tour are all playing, including second-place Collin Morikawa, who trails Bridgeman by $991,0488. A top-five finish at Bay Hill, which carries a $20 million purse and $4 million for the winner, would do the trick if Bridgeman finishes well below that.

It might not be the same as it was, but Harry Styles will finally be back at Madison Square Garden in 2026. On Thursday, January 22, the Grammy-winning artist announced his Harry Styles: Together, Together concerts across New York, London, Amsterdam, Mexico, São Paulo, Melbourne and Sydney, with 30 shows taking place at Madison Square Garden this year.

Harry’s no stranger to the iconic New York venue — in fact, during his very successful Love On Tour, his 15-night MSG residency became the highest-grossing single engagement in the venue’s history.

Following the conclusion of Love On Tour, which ran from September 2021 to July 2023, the artist took some time to step back and focus on his next album. On January 15, he confirmed that his fourth studio release — titled Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. — will officially arrive March 6, with lead single “Aperture” dropping January 22.

Australian cycling star Jay Vine has survived a race crash caused by a kangaroo to win the Tour Down Under for the second time.

Despite losing two more UAE Team Emirates colleagues on Sunday's last stage, Vine's commanding lead was enough of a buffer. He also won the Santos Tour in 2023.

British sprint ace Matthew Brennan (Visma-Lease A Bike) won the last stage.

The challenges continued for UAE Team Emirates-XRG on Sunday's final stage of the Santos Tour Down Under, as while the team may have started stage 5 in the enviable position of having Jay Vine in front with an almost unheard of gap to his nearest rival of 1:03 they'd lost the previously second-placed Jhonatan Narváez from the race to a nasty crash on stage 4. An injured Vegard Stake Laengen also had to leave the race on Saturday. That left the team with five riders on the start line and then, in the early part of stage 5, there came word that there had been a crash in peloton, with a kangaroo visible hopping off the side of the road as the footage on broadcaster Seven panned back to vision of the after-effects of the crash. It showed one of Vine's teammates, Mikkel Bjerg, on the road as Vine was remounting and starting his chase.

It's January, and January in the world of women's professional road racing only means one thing: Tour Down Under. For riders who live in Europe or North America, it's a chance to escape the cold and cram in some quality training in the Adelaide hills, with a few days of racing to really get the engines firing. For the Australians, it's an opportunity to display what form they have on the world stage, although a little less so this year.
