Liverpool could battle Chelsea in the race to land Rennes center back Jérémy Jacquet, while the Blues are preparing a €30 million offer to sign young Nantes defender Tylel Tati. Join us for the latest transfer news and rumors from around the globe.

    – Chelsea are ready to make a €30 million bid to sign Nantes center back Tylel Tati, according to L'Equipe. Tati, 18, has played 19 games for Nantes this season and has attracted interest from around Europe. The Blues need a defender this window, due to injuries, but are set to bring Mamadou Sarr back and terminate his loan at Strasbourg, while Aaron Anselmino will head to the French side on loan instead. The report claims Tati would sign for Chelsea and re-join Nantes on loan.

Chelsea set for busy transfer deadline day as part one of triple deal agreed

Chelsea are preparing to loan Aaron Anselmino to Strasbourg for the rest of the season, amid talks over whether to recall Mamadou Sarr before Monday’s transfer deadline.

Sarr has impressed at Strasbourg this season and Liam Rosenior is an admirer of the 20-year-old French centre-back from his time with the Ligue 1 club.

Chelsea have been assessing their centre-back options and Stamford Bridge sources suggest any decision to recall Sarr would not have a bearing on talks over their move to sign Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes.

Jacquet has made it clear he wants to join Chelsea but Rennes do not want to lose him midway through the season. Liverpool also like Jacquet.

Chelsea hatch fresh centre-back plan as Liam Rosenior looks to recall ANOTHER loanee amid Jeremy Jacquet transfer pursuit

Chelsea are reportedly keen on recalling another loanee as Liam Rosenior seeks to bolster his centre-back options. The Blues have been keen on signing Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet but that deal is proving difficult. Rather than splashing the cash yet again, it seems the Stamford Bridge outfit are keen on making better use of players on their own books for the second half of the season.

Ahead of the final days of the winter transfer window, Chelsea are without injured centre-backs Tosin Adarabioyo and Levi Colwill. Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana are their first-choice defenders at present, but Benoit Badiashile and Josh Acheampong have also played in that position this season. It seems the Chelsea hierarchy are not convinced with their defensive options, especially as they want Rennes' Jacquet. Earlier this week, the Blues also recalled young Argentine centre-back Aaron Anselmino from his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund. But are they done there?

Just in: PSG agree 4.5-year contract with Barcelona starlet Dro ahead of €6m move

It seems Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernandez’s transfer to PSG from FC Barcelona is on the verge of completion.

Indeed, according to journalist Santi Aouna, the 18-year-old attacking midfielder has agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the French and European champions.

Now, the Parisian giants are poised to activate his €6 million release clause before making the deal official.

This comes as a bitter blow for Barcelona, who had shown tremendous faith in Dro over the past months, backing him to make it in the first-team setup despite his young age.

Hansi Flick, in particular, saw the youngster, who turned 18 earlier this month, as a personal bet and had him in his plans for the future.
