Nike has unveiled the Book 1 “Torched,” which serves as the definitive final release for Devin Booker’s debut signature line. This limited edition draws inspiration from Phoenix’s mythology of rising anew from its own ashes and concludes a highly successful run of over 30 distinct Book 1 editions, setting the stage for the upcoming Book 2 lineup.

The sneaker’s design strongly emphasizes the “torched” concept, utilizing a frayed white canvas upper with intentionally distressed, scorched detailing. These realistic burn marks are prominently featured across the toebox, Swoosh, laces, and heel, creating a cohesive narrative of a silhouette that has been through the fire. Adding to the conceptual depth, a unique cut-out hole on the tongue tag reinforces the “torched” theme, while the interior features a “1 of 1996” label, highlighting the pair’s extreme exclusivity.

Nike is ending one chapter and starting fresh on another with NBA star and Michigan native Devin Booker. But before turning the page, the brand still has a few limited edition sneakers up its sleeve.

Fans of the athlete’s signature shoe, the Book 1, can look forward to a new Book 2 coming soon. In the meantime, they won’t want to miss the release of the Book 1 “What The” Sail and Magic Ember.

This new shoe launches Friday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m. ET for $170. As one of the last of its kind, this design is a conglomeration of every Book 1 design that came before it. Each panel and pop of color is a nod to a previous Book 1 colorway, creating a mismatched look.

Spilt Milk Unveils Set Times, Adds Extra Acts To Line-up

Genesis Owusu and Lotte Gallagher have joined this year's Spilt Milk line-up.

Spilt Milk Festival has expanded this year’s event, adding two acts to the line-up and revealing set times and other festival information today.

With just a few weeks to go, three sold-out events and limited tickets available for Perth, it’s been confirmed that Genesis Owusu joins the fun while replacing d4vd, and indie rock singer-songwriter Lotte Gallagher has also joined the line-up in Victoria, replacing Larissa Lambert.

The newly announced acts join a stacked roster of hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and indie artists. Headlined by the one and only Kendrick Lamar, this year’s festival also stars heavy hitters such as Doechii, Sara Landry, Dominic Fike, Schoolboy Q, sombr, Nessa Barrett, Don West, and many others.
