Fire vs. Fever Prediction, Odds, Best WNBA Prop Bet for Wednesday, May 20

The Indiana Fever are off to a bit of a slow start in the 2026 season, winning just two of their first four games, but they’re heavily favored to get back over .500 on Wednesday against the Portland Fire.

Portland improved to 2-2 in the 2026 season with a win over the Connecticut Sun on Monday night, but it failed to cover as a 3.5-point favorite with that game going down to the wire. Portland is an expansion team without a ton of star talent, so it makes sense that the Fever are favored on Wednesday.

Indiana is coming off a win without one of its best players – Aliyah Boston – who is not listed on the injury report on Wednesday.

‘SNL’: Watch Paul McCartney Perform ‘Days We Left Behind,’ ‘Band on the Run’

Paul McCartney, 15 months after closing out Saturday Night Live‘s 50th anniversary special with a memorable Abbey Road medley, returned to the late night show with a performance of the lead single from his upcoming album, as well as a Wings classic. When the show seemed all but wrapped up, McCartney then had a surprise encore.

McCartney opened with the mellow “Days We Left Behind” from The Boys of Dungeon Lane, which draws on his childhood memories in and around Liverpool.

“I was thinking just that, about the days I left behind and I do often wonder if I’m just writing about the past, but then I think how can you write about anything else?” McCartney, 83, said in a statement earlier this year. “It’s just a lot of memories of Liverpool. It involves a bit in the middle about John [Lennon] and Forthlin Road, which is the street I used to live in. Dungeon Lane is near there. I used to live in a place called Speke, which is quite working class. We didn’t have much at all, but it didn’t matter because all the people were great and you didn’t notice you didn’t have much.”

Will Ferrell Facilitates Reunion Between Trump and the Ghost of Epstein on ‘SNL’ Season 51 Finale

Saturday Night Live closed out its 51st season on Saturday night, where Will Ferrell returned to host the long-running sketch comedy series.

Before his opening monologue, the You’re Cordially Invited actor appeared in the cold open alongside James Austin Johnson’s Trump, where he portrayed a ghostly Jeffrey Epstein.

Upon returning from his trip to China, the faux president opted to get some rest and took a nap “on this gold bar that Switzerland gave me as a straight-up bribe.” As he drifted off to sleep, a cloudy vision of none other than Epstein popped up, in ghost form.

Will Ferrell reasserts his all-timer Saturday Night Live status in the Season 51 finale

When Amy Poehler hosted Saturday Night Live early this season, I mentioned that she’s probably one of the best to ever do it—the show in general, I mean, not just host. I think a case could be made that Will Ferrell deserves the top spot on whatever alumni list includes Poehler in the top five. To some extent, this might reflect the old saw about the SNL cast from when you were in high school looming largest in your memory; Ferrell started on the show on my fifteenth birthday, a few weeks into my sophomore year, and left about a week before I graduated from college. Then again, those years also included several cast members that wouldn’t make my top 50 (and plenty of weeks where I lost track of the show and had to catch up on certain episodes years later). Ferrell wasn’t the only one holding the show together in that era—one of his strengths was the sheer variety of great scene partners he worked with—but he’s the perfect combination of showcase recurring character machine, utility player, and true weirdo with a highly specific sensibility. Has anyone hit those three roles so hard since? Or, for that matter, before? (Aykroyd and Radner arguably did it in those legendary first five years, but they logged significantly less time at it than Ferrell did.)

Storm vs. Fever Prediction, Odds and Best WNBA Prop Bets for Sunday, May 17

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are off to a slow start in the 2026 season, dropping two of their first three games heading into Sunday’s battle with the Seattle Storm.

The Storm are also just 1-2 in the 2026 season, and they’re extremely short-handed on Sunday with Dominique Malonga and Ezi Magbegor sidelined for this matchup.

So, oddsmakers have set the Fever as 11.5-point favorites at home as they aim to get back to .500.

Indiana’s two losses this season (to Dallas and Washington) have come by a combined five points, but the defense (11th in defensive rating) has been the biggest concern for Indy. Luckily, the Storm are 14th in the league in offensive rating and may not be able to take advantage of Indiana’s weak defense with Malonga out.

How to watch Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever vs Storm WNBA game today

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever kick off the first of five straight games against West Coast opponents on Sunday, May 17, against the Seattle Storm.

Here's how to watch the former Iowa women's basketball star and the Fever in action for Indiana's fourth regular-season game, including time, TV schedule and streaming information.

Tipoff is at 5 p.m CT, and fans can watch it live on Peacock or the NBC Sports Network.

Seattle is 1-2 and dropped its last game to the Toronto Tempo, 86-73, on May 13. The Storm's leading scorer, rebounder and defender is 20-year-old Dominique Malonga, who is averaging 16 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal across three games.

How to watch Celta de Vigo vs. Atletico Madrid in the U.S.: TV channel and streaming options for May 9

Celta de Vigo takes on Atletico Madrid at Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET in La Liga. Atletico Madrid is fourth overall in the league, with 63 points. Celta de Vigo is sixth, with 47.

How will Atlético Madrid line up against Celta Vigo in LaLiga?

After a heartbreaking end to this season’s Champions League campaign, Atlético Madrid (19-6-9, 63 points) have to regroup and shift their focus to the remaining four matches in LaLiga. The push to finish third begins when Atlético host Celta Vigo (12-11-11, 47 points) on Saturday evening.

The focus since February for Diego Simeone’s men had been to stay within the Champions League places in LaLiga, a goal that has been achieved as Atlético on Thursday secured a place in next season’s edition of the competition. However, Atleti came up short in both cups, and so the Rojiblancos now have four games to overtake third-place Villarreal, who have a five-point advantage entering round 35.

3 things to watch in Knicks-76ers Game 3

Health questions for both teams, Tyrese Maxey handling the blitz and paint discrepancies are all factors in Friday's clash.

The Knicks’ offense and defense would take a big hit if OG Anunoby is unable to go in Game 3.

The Philadelphia 76ers came back from a 3-1 deficit against the 2 seed in the first round. So a 2-0 deficit against the 3 seed in the Eastern Conference semifinals should seem relatively manageable.

But over the last three weeks, the New York Knicks have been the best basketball team outside of Oklahoma City. And through Game 2, they’ve outscored their playoff opponents by 19.4 points per 100 possessions. The Sixers played much better in Game 2 than they did in Game 1, but still came up short, scoring an anemic 12 points on 21 possessions in the fourth quarter.

Brunson steers Knicks to 2-0 lead with tight win over Sixers

NEW YORK — Jalen Brunson scored 26 points and helped New York seize control of a close game after a run of blowouts, leading the Knicks to a 108-102 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night for a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Playing without the injured Joel Embiid, the 76ers put up a far better fight than in the Knicks' 137-98 romp in Game 1. The game featured 25 lead changes — the most in a playoff game in 11 years — and 14 ties. Neither team led by more than seven points.

"Most importantly it's staying poised, staying composed," Brunson said. "Just figuring out one play at a time, one step at a time and not looking too far ahead."

Knicks vs. 76ers Game 3 prediction, best bets: Can Karl-Anthony Towns keep up the assists?

The Knicks survived a thriller at Madison Square Garden, and the series shifts to Philadelphia, which should be welcoming to New York and its traveling fans for Game 3.

The Knicks are on an impressive five-game win streak during the NBA playoffs that spans the last three games of the first round against the Hawks and the first two games of this second round series against the 76ers.

Jalen Brunson has shown his usual All-NBA ceiling, OG Anunoby looks like he should be an All-Star, Mikal Bridges has found his game at the perfect time, and Josh Hart has done all the little things the Knicks need to win.

4 things to watch in Knicks-Hawks Game 6

Atlanta's Jalen Johnson (and others) must shine in Game 6 vs. New York, which is one win away from an East semis berth.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ playmaking and scoring have carved up the Hawks in this first-round series.

It’s close-out time in this first-round series and the New York Knicks are bringing the momentum, which has shifted suddenly. The question is, will they bring a killer’s instinct?

That’s what this type of game requires, because it’s tough to send another team on vacation, especially on their home court. The Atlanta Hawks had nothing to lose when this series began, and managed to assume a 2-1 lead and cause the sky to temporarily fall in Gotham. They can make that happen again, although it’ll require a much stronger effort than the last two games.

Aussies Abroad: Daniels, Landale close in on post-season

For the second time in as many games, their Atlanta Hawks upset higher Eastern Conference seeds New York to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven first-round playoff series.

CJ McCollum hit a fadeaway jumper with 12.5 seconds left to ruin the Knicks' night again, leading the hosts to a 109-108 victory on Thursday (Friday AEST).

After starring in a Game 2 stunner at Madison Square Garden, McCollum came through again from 15 feet, finishing with 23 points.

Hawks coach Quin Snyder called it "a great shot," but stressed the effort of his entire team.

"That's the thing about this group that I've enjoyed so much."

3 things to watch in Celtics-Sixers Game 4

Could Joel Embiid return in time to swing the balance? Who will win the 3-point battle? Can the 76ers find easy buckets?

When you’re a title contender, you want to take care of business in the first round. And, up 2-1, the Boston Celtics would surely love to take control of their first round series with the Philadelphia 76ers by sweeping two games in Philadelphia.

The Sixers should be the desperate team, having lost home-court advantage on Friday night, unable to get any stops down the stretch of Game 3.

Here are three things to watch for in Game 4 on Sunday (7 ET, NBC/Peacock):

The two identify the best and worst landing spots for the rookies. The two also name a few vets that won or lost fantasy value this weekend based on where the top rookies went.

Bergerac's Damien Molony on the 'pressure' of following John Nettles and balancing his life as a dad-of-two

When Damien Molony said yes to playing the lead role in Bergerac, it never occurred to him that he might become a sex symbol.

The Irish actor, 42, best known for his roles in Being Human and The Split, stars as the titular detective in UKTV's reboot of the BBC's classic crime drama, which first hit screens in the Eighties.

It's a role that made John Nettles, the original Jim Bergerac, a TV heartthrob overnight, with one critic describing him as "half man, half nutmeg and all sex god" at the time.

"It never crossed my mind even remotely," Damien tells HELLO!. "Then someone gave me John Nettles's autobiography, and if you ever get a chance to have a look at the front cover, you'll totally get what they mean."

The Celtics and 76ers seem set to add to their playoff lore as the series moves to Philadelphia for the next two games.

Tyrese Maxey finishes with 29 points and nine assists in a Game 2 win for the Sixers.

The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers have a rich postseason history and, for decades, stood as one of the league’s original rivalries. It was one with epic performances and finishes, especially in the 1980s, when their playoff series often sent the eventual NBA champion to the NBA Finals.

Fast forward to today, and there’s a scent of a rivalry brewing again, if only because their first-round series is tied at one game each and suspense has entered the building.

From Tyrese Maxey to Justin Edwards – and maybe Joel Embiid – adjustments to watch for in Sixers-Celtics Game 3

A few days ago, Sixers fans had awful tastes in their mouths. After a wire-to-wire demolition at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon, the Sixers looked completely outclassed by their rivals. For more than 48 hours, they were ruthlessly mocked around these parts. Sans Joel Embiid, the Sixers looked hopeless.

Yet heading into Thursday's Game 3 at Xfinity Mobile Arena, there is considerable intrigue. Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe took over in Boston in Game 2 on Tuesday night, evening up the series and restoring interest. Embiid, 15 days after his emergency appendectomy, is shockingly listed as doubtful, indicating he could return far earlier than anticipated.
