Jauan Jennings Week 17 Outlook – Bears at 49ers

Since Week 9, Jauan Jennings has been the WR18 in fantasy points per game with a 19.5% target share, 50.6 receiving yards per game, 1.85 yards per route run, and a 28.5% first-read share. In those seven games, Jennings has had seven scores, 11 red zone targets, and four deep targets. Jennings has a tough matchup this week, but I wouldn't be shocked if he overcame it with a nice stat line. Since Week 12, Chicago has allowed the eighth-fewest PPR points per target and the eighth-fewest receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers.

49ers Players Are Severely Underestimating the Bears

The San Francisco 49ers are starting to take the Chicago Bears lightly.

The two will face off on Sunday Night Football in search of the NFC's No. 1 seed, with both needing to win out and the Seattle Seahawks to lose one of their two final games. Chicago is the No. 2 seed, while San Francisco is the No. 5.

49ers receiver Jauan Jennings was asked about how much tape he has watched on the Bears' secondary in a recent interview. The wideout shared that he really only watched about two games of film on Chicago heading into the matchup.

It sounds like the 49ers are not giving the Bears much attention. Jennings further shared that it's because the 49ers and Bears usually play on the same day, arguing that it's hard to watch film on them because of this.

Week 16 injury updates for the Houston Texans vs Las Vegas Raiders game.

Nick Chubb, Christian Kirk are expected to play for Texans Sunday

The Texans have their top two running backs listed as questionable to play against the Raiders on Sunday, but they are expected to have at least one of them in the lineup.

According to multiple reports, Nick Chubb is expected to return after missing last Sunday’s win over the Cardinals. Chubb has injured ribs, but he was able to practice fully the last two days of the week.

Woody Marks missed two practices with an ankle injury, so he would seem to be less likely to be in the lineup. Jawhar Jordan broke out with 101 yards last Sunday and will join Chubb in the lineup.

Woody Marks injury status for Texans in Week 16

It truly couldn't be going any better for the red-hot Houston Texans. At the time of this writing, DeMeco Ryans' team has won six straight games (and seven of its last eight) to solidify itself as a firm contender in the AFC playoff field. Ryans' defense flexes its muscles every week, C.J. Stroud is playing some of the best football of his young career, and the Texans are clearly gaining more confidence with every win. This squad, very feasibly, seems like a real dark horse in next month's postseason.

Well, they might have to get a tad healthier to really make a deep playoff run.

The Los Angeles Rams (11-3) enter their Week 16 "Thursday Night Football" game at the Seattle Seahawks (11-3) as the No. 1 seed in the NFC West and in the conference. Thursday's game could alter that with the Seahawks on their tail.

The Rams clinched a playoff berth last week but are playing for the No. 1 overall seed and a wild-card round bye. The Seahawks can clinch a playoff berth with a win Thursday or a Detroit Lions loss vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Rams reporter Sarah Barshop and Seahawks reporter Brady Henderson are on-site to provide all the highlights throughout the night right here.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and running back Kyren Williams carried the ball 12 times for 91 yards and a touchdown. The Rams' defense intercepted Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold four times, including two by safety Kam Kinchens and one apiece from cornerbacks Cobie Durant and Darious Williams. The game came down to a 61-yard field goal attempt from Seattle kicker Jason Myers, which he missed as time expired.

NFL Thursday Night Football preview: Rams at Seahawks is a game of the year candidate

We might look back and realize that the winner of Super Bowl LX was actually determined during a monumental NFC West clash in Week 16.

That’s how big the second meeting this season between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks could be. There is a very good chance that the No. 1 playoff seed in the NFC will come from one of these two teams, both of which are 11-3. And the team that wins will have pole position with two games left.

On top of that, as the season has gone on, most rankings have placed the Seahawks and Rams as the two best teams in the NFL, in some order. It’s arguable that this is the best game of the entire NFL regular season, unless that title went to the first meeting between the teams.

Power Rankings Week 7: Quartet of teams rising in Top 10

The Lakers, Knicks, Magic and Wolves are surging at the season's quarter point while the Top 3 remains unchanged.

The Knicks and Magic have hit their stride of late and both rank in the Top 10 this week.

Monday is the first day of December and also a significant milestone in the 2025-26 season.

Once the night’s nine-game slate is complete, we’ll have reached the point when 25% of the season’s 1,230 games have been played. That quarter mark (when teams have played about 20 games) is when you can look at the standings and believe in what you’re seeing.

Here’s the updated data that’s always in this space at this time of year …

NBA power rankings: Thunder dominate as Lakers, Pistons chase

The NBA schedule is marching on as the NBA Cup knockout rounds are set to kick off later this month.

Three of the Top 5 teams by standing in each of the Eastern and Western Conferences are in the NBA Cup quarterfinals, but there is one team that has dominated and stands well beyond all other squads. The Oklahoma City Thunder have been dominating opponents so thoroughly that many of their stars, namely Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, aren’t even playing fourth quarters.

Everyone is chasing the defending champs, who may be poised for a dominant season.

Here are USA TODAY Sports’ NBA power rankings after Week 6 of the 2025-26 regular season:

NFL Week 12 bold predictions: Christian McCaffrey makes history; Patriots roll on the ground

NFL.com analysts provide one bold prediction for Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season, from fantasy forecasts to team-based takes.

In the Super Bowl era, there have only been two games in which a team rushed for 400-plus yards. Both involved the Cincinnati Bengals — the Broncos did it against the Bengals in Week 8 of the 2000 season, and the Bengals did it against the Ravens in Week 17 of 2020. Let’s make it three. In a blowout win on Sunday, TreVeyon Henderson, Rhamondre Stevenson, Drake Maye and Co. will top 400 rushing yards (and four touchdowns) against Cincinnati.

The Lions offense was on the struggle bus last week. This week, they get to play at home against a Giants defense that has given up touchdowns like it was holding a Black Friday sale. Big Blue has allowed the seventh-most passing touchdowns and the second-most rushing scores. If you have a Lion, this is absolutely the week to make sure they’re in your fantasy lineup.

Computer model locks in Bengals vs. Patriots picks, score prediction, SGP for NFL Week 12

The Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots meet on Sunday in Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season with Cincinnati hoping to make a late playoff push while New England attempts to keep its winning streak going. The Bengals will be without Ja'Marr Chase thanks to a suspension, and quarterback Joe Burrow (toe) is out again. The Patriots have won eight in a row and have the No. 2 seed in the AFC, but have the same record as the Broncos.

Kickoff from Gillette Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+. The Patriots are 7.5-point favorites, according to the latest Bengals vs. Patriots odds, and the over/under for total points scored is 50.5. The Patriots are -391 money line favorites (risk $391 to win $100), while the Bengals are +306 underdogs.
