    Cam Spencer has provided a spark off the Memphis bench, and my Grizzlies vs. Kings predictions expect plenty of assists from the former UConn Huskies star.

    Cam Spencer is handling primary facilitator duties for the Memphis Grizzlies and doesn’t need a ceiling game to reach six assists.

    Travis Scott’s ‘Hyaena’ Soundtracks Oakley Super Bowl Ads Starring IShowSpeed, Spike Lee & Marshawn Lynch

    The commercials are set to air in the first and third quarters of Super Bowl LX.

    Travis Scott was named Oakley’s chief visionary last year, and it’s only fitting that his music provides the soundtrack to the sunglasses company’s first Super Bowl commercial.

    Scott took it back to the chaos of his Utopia opener “Hyaena” — which peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 2023 — for the pair of adrenaline-inducing clips that star streamer IShowSpeed, former NFL star Marshawn Lynch, Spike Lee, Sky Brown, Sunny Choi, Kate Courtney and golfer Akshay Bhatia.

    “This partnership has been really exciting for me. I need gear that fits my pace, and the Oakley Meta glasses let me capture moments and listen to music hands-free without breaking my flow,” Speed said in a statement on Monday (Feb. 2). “Everything’s hands-free, locked in and designed to fit naturally into how I move.”

    There’s a turf war going down at the Grammy Awards that hasn’t necessarily been as pronounced until now. As one anonymous voter — who’s in their second year as a member of the Recording Academy — puts it, it’s fueled by the inevitable evolution of how music is being discovered and consumed, which often takes the form of video crudité. “There are two sides,” the voter explains. “We’re looking at the ‘virality artists’ who are intentionally creating TikTok hits, making songs to go viral, and are very catchy with the algorithm and meant for that type of platform. The 15-second hooks, if you will.” The opposing side upholds a weightier industry standard, at least for this voter. “We have artists creating complex narratives, like Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish, who are doubling down on musicianship and legacy,” they say. “That’s the overall theme this year, and I strongly leaned in to the legacy side.”
