    Young Crow to debut

Young Crow Charlie Edwards will make his AFL debut against St Kilda at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

The 20-year-old was selected as a midfielder with pick No.21 at the 2023 AFL Draft, before making a switch to half-back last year in the SANFL.

Edwards, however, returned to the Crows’ midfield fold this pre-season, and earned an AFL debut after putting together a strong bout of form in the Club’s recent SANFL games.

Across the opening two SANFL games this season, Edwards has averaged 24.5 disposals, six clearances and eight inside-50s.

Crows Executive General Manager Football Adam Kelly said Edwards deserved an opportunity after consistent hard work and dedication since he arrived at the Club.

Team Selection: Round 6 v Adelaide

St Kilda has finalised its team to face Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

The Saints will make just one change to the side that defeated Port Adelaide at the same ground on Sunday, as they look to take their third win of the season.

St Kilda coach Ross Lyon speaks to media ahead of the Saints' clash with the Adelaide Crows, thanks to Westinghouse.

Liam Stocker will return to the side, replacing Alix Tauru (managed). Stocker makes his way back into the side after entering concussion protocols following the VFL Easter Sunday clash with the Tigers.

The game will be played at 7:35pm AEST on Saturday, and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.

Dragons young gun Loko Pasifiki Tonga requests release

You have reached ESPN's Australian edition. Stay on current site or go to US version.

St George Illawarra forward Loko Pasifiki Tonga has requested a release from the club, as he looks to explore opportunities elsewhere in search of consistent NRL football.

Sources have told ESPN that the 20-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated with his lack of first-grade opportunities, prompting the young forward to seek permission to speak with rival clubs.

Despite being viewed internally as a promising middle-forward option, Tonga has struggled to cement a spot in the Dragons' top squad rotation this season, with competition for places limiting his pathway into the NRL side.

Rogers: The reasons behind young Dragon's shock request

SEN's Mat Rogers has revealed the reasons behind young Dragon Loko Pasifiki Tonga's shock request to negotiate with rival clubs.

Pasifiki Tonga is considered a rising star of the game but is yet to make an appearance in first grade this season, instead playing three games in reserve grade, averaging 179 metres a game.

The 20-year-old made 10 appearances for the Dragons in 2025, but an inability to crack the first-grade squad, and a lack of coaching and direction regarding his future, has contributed to the prop's release request.

Rogers owns Rogers Sports Management, who represent Pasifiki Tonga, however, the forward is not Rogers' direct client.

Inclusive education: creating opportunities for children with autism

Education plays a powerful role in shaping how children understand and interact with the world and with each other.

For children with autism, the right educational environment can make an extraordinary difference.

Across the world, inclusive education is increasingly recognised as one of the most effective ways to support children with developmental differences while also fostering empathy among their peers.

In Ghana, schools like Bright Steps International School are helping to lead this shift toward more inclusive learning environments.

Inclusive education means creating classrooms where children with different learning styles and abilities learn together in supportive settings.

Rather than separating children based on their developmental differences, inclusive schools focus on adapting teaching strategies to meet each child’s needs.

Orcas kill young whale in front of shocked West Aussies

A routine watching tour off WA’s south coast took a shocking turn when a pods of orcas started hunting and killed a young fin whale near Bremer Bay.

The Whale Watch WA tour group were about six kilometres off the coast on Sunday morning when they ran into a regular pod of killer whales — affectionately named Queen, Cookie, and Cooee — and their babies.

They were joined by other pods, with more than 65 of the mammals spotted.

As the tour watched on, the orcas’ energy “shifted within a heartbeat”, with the group suddenly “exploding” out of the water towards an 11-metre, young fin whale which was believed to have been separated from its mother.

Boat full of tourists witness 'momentous' scene just 6km off Aussie coastline: 'Never seen'

A boat full of tourists was treated to a heart-stopping display just moments from the coastline. For the first time in Australian waters, orcas were witnessed hunting a fin whale.

The "historical and momentous" scene was captured on the cameras and iPhones of dozens of visitors to Bremer Bay, on the West Australian coast on Sunday morning.

Gemma, a tour guide from Whale Watch Western Australia, told Yahoo News the findings will now be reported to Cetacean Research Centre WA.

"This is the very first time a Fin Whale has been observed being hunted by Orca in Australian waters, " she told Yahoo News.

Young undergoing medical tests but ‘in good spirits’ and expected to perform, says events promoter

AC/DC guitarist Stevie Young has been hospitalised in Buenos Aires after feeling unwell, just days before the band’s scheduled sold-out concerts in the city.

According to the event’s promoter, the guitarist for the legendary Australian rock band was undergoing medical tests but remains in good spirits and was expected to perform.

The band are scheduled to perform in the Argentinian capital as part of their Power Up world tour.

Young, the nephew of the band’s late founder Malcolm Young, “was not feeling well. As a precaution, he was admitted to a local hospital, where he is undergoing a full series of tests,” according to a statement released Thursday by the event’s promoter.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Cameron Young was a runner-up seven times on the PGA Tour before he finally picked up his first victory at the Wyndham Championship in August 2025.

In the final round of the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass on Sunday, Young looked determined to make sure he didn't finish second again.

Trailing England's Matt Fitzpatrick by one stroke with two holes to play, Young tied his playing partner with a birdie on the iconic 17th hole and then beat him with a par on the 18th, where Fitzpatrick's drive into the trees on the right led to a bogey 5.

The PGA Tour might have lost out in the court of public opinion over whether the Players Championship could be a major. However, the level of drama as shadows lengthened on this Sawgrass Sunday set the tournament aside from most others.

It came down to Cameron Young versus Matt Fitzpatrick. As Fitzpatrick agonisingly missed for par on the 72nd hole, Young had secured the biggest win of his career. He had emerged triumphant from a sporting thriller.

Fitzpatrick will rue the 18th hole. He had taken a double bogey there on Saturday. As his tee shot in round four sprayed right and into pine straw, the Yorkshireman was in trouble again. Young had battered his drive 375 yards down the fairway. It was an advantage the New Yorker was unwilling to waste.

Guy Ritchie’s ‘Young Sherlock’ Delivers a Perfect Origin Story: TV Review

Inspired by Andrew Lane’s “Young Sherlock Holmes” novels and with Guy Ritchie as director, Prime Video’s “Young Sherlock” is sensational. The series, which was adapted by Matthew Parkhill, remixes the beloved figure to deliver all the traits fans know and love — with more than one twist. The show turns Victorian England on its head, infusing it with modern energy while offering an intricate mystery anchored by singular characters and extraordinary circumstances.

“Young Sherlock” begins long before the legendary detective acquires his signature deerstalker cap and pipe. At 19, Sherlock (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) can’t stay out of trouble. It’s 1871, and Sherlock’s claim to fame is that he’s mastered the art of pickpocketing. Although his sticky fingers have landed him a six-month prison sentence, his esteemed older brother, Mycroft (Max Irons), comes to his aid. With their father, Silas (Joseph Fiennes, who is Fiennes Tiffin’s real-life uncle), away on business and their mother, Cordelia (Natascha McElhone), confined to a mental institution, Mycroft guides Sherlock onto the right path by offering him a new job.
