Notts sign all-rounder Linde for T20 Blast campaign
Notts Outlaws have signed South Africa all-rounder George Linde for the 2026 T20 Blast campaign.
The 34-year-old has featured 33 times for the Proteas across all international formats, although a vast majority of those appearances have come in the shortest form of the game.
Linde, whose franchise cricket career has seen him play at home in South Africa, as well as Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Caribbean, United States and in England with Kent, has taken more than 200 wickets and amassed just over 2,500 T20 runs.
His move to Notts sees him return to Trent Bridge, where he had previously played for the Trent Rockets in The Hundred competition.

SOMERSET County Cricket Club have signed Daniel Sams, a 33 year Australian international quick bowler, who will be available for the whole of next T20 competition.
The Cidermen enter the 2026 campaign as reigning champions and having won the trophy twice in the last three years the signing of Sams shows their fans that they aim to hang onto it.
A regular in global white ball franchise cricket, Sams has featured in a total of 206 T20 matches in his career, claiming 250 wickets at an average of 24.63 with a best of five for 30. In those matches he has also amassed over 2170 runs with a best of 98 not out at a strike rate of 152.66.

Cricket: Australian all-rounder to join Somerset for Vitality Blast
Daniel Sams is set to join Somerset County Cricket Club for the 2026 Vitality Blast.
The 33-year-old all-rounder will be available for the full duration of the competition and arrives with a wealth of T20 experience, having played 206 matches, taken 250 wickets at an average of 24.63, and scored over 2,170 runs at a strike rate of 152.66.
Sams said: "This is an exciting opportunity, and hopefully I can help the team retain the trophy.
"Having played against Somerset, I know how good a T20 side they are, and I’m looking forward to being a part of the team.
"I know a few of the guys already, and I’ll be doing everything that I can to help them win games of cricket in 2026."
