Blues appoint caretaker as full-time coach after fairy tale run
Carlton has appointed current caretaker coach Josh Fraser as full-time senior coach for 2027 and beyond.
The Blues’ board met on Monday following their qualification for the Wildcard Round to tick off the final elements of the decision.
He will sign a contract tying him to the club for at least three years, with confirmation from Carlton to come this week.
Under Fraser, the Blues have won 10 of 13 games, plus a draw with the Western Bulldogs on Sunday that locked them into the top 10.

Blues make it official: Fraser to be announced as Carlton coach
Josh Fraser will be confirmed as Carlton’s new senior coach on Tuesday.
The Carlton board met on Monday to ratify the recommendation that Fraser be confirmed as coach and two sources with knowledge of the appointment confirmed to this masthead that he would be announced as the person to replace Michael Voss.
Former VFL coach Fraser, who was appointed as caretaker when Voss departed in May, has overseen a stunning transformation of the team, winning 10 games and drawing another from 13 matches in charge.
Final details of the length of his contract were being finalised, but a source with knowledge of the situation said it was likely to be a three-year deal.
