Devils mourn former coach Adam Bell
The local football community is in shock following the death of former Corio co-coach Adam Bell.
The Devils confirmed Bell’s passing on social media earlier this (Saturday) evening, bringing with it tributes from current and former players at Corio, rival clubs and AFL Barwon.
Bell co-coached Corio alongside Ross Gemmill this year, having previously played at Corio and served as an assistant coach at Shell Oval.
He also held coaching roles at Bellarine club Newcomb, at Geelong Grammar, and with the Geelong Falcons’ V/Line Cup program.
“Adam was part of our football family, and his loss is deeply felt throughout our club and the wider community,” the Devils wrote.
