‘Yes, Senator’: Sex discrimination chief’s stunning admission on biological men and breastfeeding
Australia's Sex Discrimination Commissioner has sensationally declared that biological men who claim to be women can be covered by breastfeeding protections under the discrimination act.
Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody has said that men who claim to be women are covered by breastfeeding protections in the Sex Discrimination Act.
Ms Cody appeared before Senate Estimates on Monday where she was asked to confirm whether men who identified as lactating women were protected under the act.
It comes months after Ms Cody revealed trans women could claim pregnancy protections despite agreeing that biological men could not get pregnant.
Liberal Senator Leah Blyth asked the commissioner if Section 7AA of the Sex Discrimination Act applied to trans women.
