Taylor Swift announces new single for Toy Story 5 soundtrack

I Knew It, I Knew You is written with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and marks a return to Swift’s country roots

After days of speculation online, Taylor Swift has announced the release of a new original song for Toy Story 5.

Titled I Knew It, I Knew You, the single will be released on 5 June, with CD singles available for preorder on Swift’s website. Three variants will be available, each containing different versions of the song: a piano version, an acoustic version and the original.

Rumors started to swirl around Swift’s involvement in the film last week, after fans spotted billboards that spelled out the initials “TS” in the blocky yellow Toy Story font. The posters appeared in Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Toronto, Mexico City and London.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off on June 11, and McDonald’s is celebrating with a new meal and the return of a beloved condiment.

Beginning June 4, the Golden Arches will be offering soccer-themed happy meals for children and adults.

For adults, the FIFA World Cup 26 Meal is available for breakfast or dinner. The AM offering gives customers the choice between a Sausage McMuffin with egg or a Sausage Biscuit with egg and a crispy, uniform hash brown.

The dinner version of the meal comes with either a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNugget.

Each adult meal comes with one of nine collectible cups branded with the famous faces of the world’s greatest soccer stars: David Beckham, Thierry Henry, Lamine Yamal, Christian Pulisic, Alphonso Davies, Santiago Gimenez, Son Heung-Min, and Ronaldinho.

McDonald's debuts World Cup collectibles, Squishmallows and a specialty McFlurry

To help kick off the 2026 FIFA World Cup festivities, McDonald's is launching a new menu of meals complete with soccer legend-inspired collectibles.

The Golden Arches tapped a few of the greatest footballers in the world for its new World Cup campaign including Christian Pulisic, Thierry Henry, David Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Lamine Yamal, Son Heung-Min, Alphonso Davies and Santiago Giménez.

Starting June 4, the soccer stars — plus McDonald's own legend, Grimace — will be featured on nine new collectible cups that will be served as part of the new FIFA World Cup 26 Meal.

Customers can choose from a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets served with fries, a drink and a limited edition gold packaged Big Mac Sauce.

Over the past decade across Coalition and Labor governments, childcare has become way more expensive for taxpayers and no cheaper for parents, while there is no clear evidence of improved outcomes for children, and also parents overwhelmingly aren't happy with the available options.

Direct payments or childcare subsidies? New policy proposal reignites debate about parental choice and affordability

The discussion follows commentary published by the Centre for Independent Studies (CIS), which questioned whether direct financial support for families may provide greater flexibility and value than continued increases in childcare subsidy funding. The article suggested that a payment of approximately $9,000 per child could offer families more freedom to determine how they balance care, work and family responsibilities.

While the proposal is unlikely to gain universal support across the sector, it has again highlighted long-running questions about how governments fund early childhood education and care (ECEC), and whether current settings are achieving the outcomes policymakers intend.

The debate comes at a time when childcare affordability remains a significant concern for many Australian families.

The former world champion has thrown his support behind Antonelli’s title credentials, arguing the Mercedes driver possesses the mindset needed to cope with the demands of a championship battle.

On Monday, I called a few of my local Dunkin' locations to ask if they still had the free tote bags available with the purchase of a half or full dozen donuts. One location was very confused by the call, one didn't answer, and one said that yes, they had just one in stock. I raced over, and to my relief, I secured the bag.

The free tote was a limited-time promotion. Locations only got 20 bags each. It's not the first Dunkin' merchandise promotion, and certainly not even the most exciting. A branded tote bag is one of those things that you accumulate in life — not necessarily something you seek out.

It introduced a few more moral grey areas but the battle remained between good and very, very evil as Cady sought to destroy Bowdenâs life and family in every conceivable way.

Why Cape Fear is scarier than anything else I’ve seen on TV

This series is so unsettling it makes its movie predecessors feel like Roadrunner cartoons.

Hollywood’s cannibalisation of its back catalogue has spawned the good, the bad and the ugly. Residing in the first category is Cape Fear, Apple TV’s series from show-runner Nick Antosca, produced by master storytellers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. The reworking of Scorsese’s 1991 film (itself a revamp of J Lee Thompson’s 1962 classic), takes narrative licence, undergoes significant renovation and adds characters.

It’s a highly satisfying deep-dive into characterisation and theme, heightening complexity well beyond Thompson’s stripped-back tale of good and evil and Scorsese’s brutal take on universal guilt. This version, with its oppressive paranoia, is so unsettling it makes its predecessors feel like Roadrunner cartoons.

RBA governor Michele Bullock says the war in the Middle East is creating a "highly uncertain" environment that could see inflation rising even higher than anticipated.

But she is not concerned about stagflation occurring in Australia, nor a wage-price spiral.

The RBA Board's next two-day monetary policy meeting will be held on June 15 and 16.

Reserve Bank governor Michele Bullock believes the country will avoid a recession even if oil prices continue to climb, while rejecting even the notion that Australia is facing a period of stagflation.

On a day that US President Donald Trump warned that the Strait of Hormuz could remain closed until September, the governor used a Senate committee hearing to argue that despite the economic headwinds caused by the war, the economy was still likely to grow over the coming years.

The war has delivered a global shock to growth and inflation, with central banks around the world either lifting interest rates or signalling their intentions to tighten monetary policy. The Reserve Bank itself has lifted interest rates three times this year, although financial markets believe it will not move at its June and August meetings.
