A man has been arrested, accused of firing shots outside R&B singer Chris Brown's Los Angeles home.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the Tarzana neighbourhood at around 4.11pm on Friday following reports that the 35-year-old suspect allegedly fired at a woman's vehicle following an argument.

"Yesterday around 4:11pm, LAPD officers from the West Valley division responded to the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge Drive to reports of a shooting that had just occurred," a police spokesperson told Complex.

TARZANA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Shots were fired outside of singer Chris Brown's Tarzana home on Friday, according to Los Angeles police.

It happened just after 4 p.m. LAPD said the suspect and victim became involved in a dispute, and that's when the suspect pulled out a "CO2-style handgun" and fired at the victim.

Jail records show police arrested a man named Markeith Cungious. He was booked for assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm.

Investigators don't know if Brown was home at the time of the shooting or if he knows the people involved.

The incident comes after a shooting at Rihanna's house in March.

The long-term bullish case remains structurally intact. Global gold demand reached a record $193 billion in Q1 2026, with volume rising 2% year-on-year to 1,230.9 tonnes. JPMorgan projects average quarterly investor and central bank demand of 585 tonnes throughout 2026, maintaining a $5,000 year-end target. Sovereign accumulation of this scale is price-insensitive — it provides a genuine demand floor at depth and it does not evaporate during cyclical corrections. That floor is real. The question is how far price falls before it finds it.

The Fed held rates and the tone was the story. Higher for longer is not a phrase anymore. It is the operating assumption and the Fed made that clear Wednesday. Rate cuts priced for earlier in the year got pushed out to late 2026 or further. The cut expectations that were giving gold something to lean on earlier this year are gone and the support left with them.

Legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been taken to hospital after feeling unwell ahead of his former club's Premier League match against Liverpool.

The 84-year-old had been at Old Trafford for the match, which was played on Monday morning (AEDT).

Sky Sports reported Ferguson was conscious and had precautionary checks before being whisked away.

A United spokesperson said the club was unable to comment on Ferguson's status.

Bluetooth-enabled tasers and body-worn cameras, used by thousands of Australian police officers, can inadvertently reveal their real-time location to any criminal with a phone or laptop.

Police services around the country have been warned of the security flaw. But despite the safety risks, especially to officers who are undercover, in tactical units or who take their equipment home, none appear to have acted.

FOUR CORNERS exposes rising taser deaths in Australia

ABC’s flagship current affairs program Four Corners is set to air a confronting investigation tonight, examining the growing use of tasers by police forces across the country and the deaths that have followed.

Police agencies have adopted tasers over the past two decades, promoting the devices as a safer alternative in dangerous situations where lethal force might otherwise be used. However, the program reports that fatalities continue to occur.

This week’s episode, titled Taser Tactics, explores the processes behind investigations into controversial deaths and scrutinises the involvement of the device manufacturer, Axon.
