Keefe D’s Tupac Murder Trial Postponed to August 2026

The long-running case surrounding Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder has taken another turn. Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis’ trial has officially been pushed back due an overwhelming flood of new evidence.

KSNV reports that a Las Vegas District Court Judge set a new date for the trial to begin on August 10, 2026. The trial was initially scheduled to begin on February 9, 2026. Keefe D’s attorney, Robert Draskovich, told the court that the discovered material is “voluminous” and requires significantly more time to review. Prosecutors did not oppose the request.

Keefe D, 60 has been behind bars at the Clark County Detention Center since his 2023 arrest. He is accused of orchestrating the drive-by shooting that killed Tupac near the Las Vegas Strip nearly three decades ago.

Keefe D and the Tupac Shakur Case: What We Know as Trial Approaches

Nearly three decades after the fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas, the case is finally headed to trial, with Duane “Keefe D” Davis as the accused. The saga, which has transfixed the hip-hop world and beyond, has been marked by rumors, shifting alliances, and long-standing questions about justice and accountability. As of late 2025, Davis is set to stand trial for first-degree murder in February 2026, a pivotal moment in one of music’s most enduring mysteries.

    Who is Keefe D?
Duane “Keefe D” Davis is a former South Los Angeles gang member whose name has hovered around the Tupac case for years. He is not a household name like Tupac or Suge Knight, but within certain circles, Davis’s story is well-known. His connection to the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed Tupac Shakur has been the subject of both police investigations and pop culture speculation, fueled by Davis’s own statements to law enforcement and the media.

Why Keefe D’s 2Pac Proffer Became Public After Diddy’s Documentary

Duane "Keefe D" Davis Found Guilty in Jailhouse Fight While Awaiting Trial in Tupac Shakur Murder Case

When Netflix released The Reckoning last week viewers immediately reacted to footage of Duane Keefe D Davis talking about the killing of Tupac Shakur. The internet buzzed with people asking when he filmed the interview and why he chose to speak during such a tense moment for Diddy. What many did not realize is that nothing they heard in the documentary was new. It was rooted in Keefe D’s long discussed 2009 proffer agreement, a deal that was supposed to stay confidential until he spent years breaking his own protection.

The legendary Aussie rockers will follow their pulsating Friday night performance with another hotly anticipated show at the venue as part of the Aussie leg of their global Power Up tour.

Main Roads has suggested that motorists allow for extra travel time especially during afternoon peak as delays are expected If in the stadium precinct be aware of heavy foot traffic and frequently stopping vehicles.

AC/DC review: Legendary band prove they’ve still got it by rocking out Optus Stadium with classic hits

A lot has changed in AC/DC-land since the last time we saw them in Perth some 10 years and a handful of days ago.

Brian Johnson left the band halfway through their last world tour, was replaced by Axl Rose, then returned.

The classic-era rhythm section of Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd came back to record Power Up then left again — and while Stevie Young was on the Subi Oval stage a decade ago as a new replacement for the mighty Malcolm Young, he’s now permanently in that role after Malcolm’s passing in 2017.

The only original member still standing is Angus Young and the question going into Thursday night was: Can he still dazzle a crowd at age 70?

'Disgusting' video from inside cruise ship sparks heated debate online: 'This looks terrible'

A video meant to highlight the size of a cruise ship instead led Redditors to debate the merit and environmental consequences of such vessels.

The video shows the outside of one deck on the Arvia, a ship used by P&O Cruises. The video posted to Reddit was sped up by 400% and was still nearly 2 minutes long. And even in that time, the cruiser still didn't complete a full lap around the ship, showing just how massive it is.

In climate-conscious social circles, cruise ships are always a hot topic for public debate. To many people, these massive sea vessels are the epitome of excess and waste, with little regard for environmental resources or pollution.

Yet another issue that arises with cruise ships is the immediate impact on the land and water where they operate.

In a post to r/DamnThatsInteresting, one Reddit user shared a video of an enormous cruise ship disturbingly close to the shore with beachgoers mere feet away.

A recent video showcasing the enormous size of the P&O Cruises ship, Arvia, has ignited a heated debate among Reddit users, prompting discussions not just about the ship itself, but also about the broader implications of cruise tourism on the environment. The footage, which was sped up by 400% yet still lasted nearly two minutes, illustrated the vastness of the ship, with the camera only managing to capture one deck. The Arvia, measuring over 1,130 feet and weighing more than 200,000 tons, has a capacity for approximately 5,200 passengers and 1,800 crew members.

More SPF50 zinc sunscreens under the spotlight after preliminary testing shows lower protection

The ABC found 31 sunscreens using the same base formula. The sunscreens vary in price and marketing. (ABC News)

Preliminary testing by whistleblower Craig Jones on a zinc sunscreen showed the sunscreen provided SPF protection in the 20s, rather than the advertised 50.

The ABC has discovered 30 other brands of sunscreen are using the same formula produced by Australian zinc sunscreen manufacturer VeganicSKN.

The TGA told the ABC it is "concerned about preliminary data that may indicate a sunscreen does not meet its claimed SPF" and will consider whether to investigate and "take regulatory action as appropriate".

When Craig Jones decided to test his company's zinc sunscreen last year, he never imagined he'd end up throwing out more than one and a half tonnes of it.

As we head into a hot summer and Australians are stocking up on sunscreen, another product from a leading brand has been recalled.

Three batches of Cancer Council Sunscreen Clear Zinc Kids SPF50+ (110g) were recalled this week due to the potential for the product to become separated. The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) says: “The product may appear to have an uneven texture and visible water separating out of the product. If this happens, the ingredients are no longer properly mixed.“If the product is separated, it will be more difficult to spread evenly on skin, and could reduce the overall performance of the product. This could affect the SPF of the sunscreen and may cause inadequate sun protection.”

Sydney Sweeney, Richard Linklater and Emma Thompson are up for most egregious snub in the 2026 Golden Globe nominations

Linklater is missing from the best director list despite having two nominated films, and actors including Sydney Sweeney and Josh O’Connor are nowhere to be seen. It looks like Paul Thomas Anderson’s year

It’s become traditional to look for the snubs in any award list – and heaven help anyone whose job it is to curate the “in memoriam” montage on the night and then the next morning apologise for the inevitable hurtful omissions.

Snubs have become a cliche of awards season commentary, but you have to wonder about the best director list of this year’s Golden Globes nominations. No Richard Linklater? This amazing director actually has two films in the “best musical or comedy” section (so I guess he can’t really be that depressed). There’s his amazingly witty and poignant chamber piece Blue Moon, with Globe-nominated Ethan Hawke playing depressed Broadway lyricist Lorenz Hart, and his eerily accomplished pastiche-homage Nouvelle Vague, about the making of Godard’s classic Breathless, shot not in the boring old colour in which these events happened but in a beautifully realised monochrome – a little reverential for my tastes but still a marvellously accomplished picture. Two films in one year, and such different films. Quite a feat.

A powerful 7.5-magnitude earthquake has shaken north-eastern Japan, prompting orders for about 90,000 residents to evacuate and tsunami warnings that hours later were downgraded to advisories.

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) initially said a tsunami as high as 3 metres (10ft) could hit Japan’s north-eastern coast after the earthquake struck off the coast at 11.15pm (2.15pm GMT).

Tsunami warnings were issued for the prefectures of Hokkaido, Aomori and Iwate, and tsunamis from 20 to 70cm (7 to 27in) high were observed at several ports, JMA said.

In the early hours of Tuesday the JMA downgraded the warnings to advisories, meaning it was seeing lower estimated wave heights and less risk of inundation.

The minister for communications and sport has stood by her use of family travel expenses as within the rules, but the Coalition opposition is demanding reforms to expense rules and an inquiry into Wells’ spending by the independent parliamentary expenses authority (IPEA), which tracks and reports politicians’ spending on travel and office expenses.

When Garry Morgan arrived home on Friday afternoon, his rural mid-north coast property was surrounded by a “big plume of smoke”. Less than twenty-four hours later, two houses on his street would be lost, and its surrounding forest reduced to blackened skeletal remains.

Morgan’s township of Bulahdelah, around 235km north of Sydney, has become at the centre of a tragedy after a veteran firefighter died on Sunday evening when he was struck by a falling tree, marking what the NSW premier called a “foreboding start” to the bushfire season.

A Fasting-Style Diet Seems to Result in Dynamic Changes to Human Brains

Scientists looking to tackle our ongoing obesity crisis have made an important discovery: Intermittent calorie restriction leads to significant changes both in the gut and the brain, which may open up new options for maintaining a healthy weight.

Researchers from China studied 25 volunteers classed as obese over a period of 62 days, during which they took part in an intermittent energy restriction (IER) program – a regime that involves careful control of calorie intake and relative fasting on some days.

Not only did the participants in the study lose weight – 7.6 kilograms (16.8 pounds) or 7.8 percent of their body weight on average – there was also evidence of shifts in the activity of obesity-related regions of the brain, and in the makeup of gut bacteria.
