Dees forced to make late change for Tigers clash. LIVE from 3.15pm AEST

MELBOURNE has brought Jack Melksham into its side for its clash against Richmond after Harrison Petty was forced to withdraw.

Petty is a late out due to a hamstring issue, while Bayley Fritsch was withdrawn on Saturday despite being named in the original side, with Aidan Johnson coming in for him.

Melbourne surged back into the top-four race with a stunning start against Hawthorn last Saturday before taking the foot off the accelerator in the second half and losing some of the percentage gains it briefly held.

The Demons will still be riding high from a first interstate victory this year and now return to their happy hunting ground at home where they have won all eight matches this season.

MELBOURNE has confirmed a late change ahead of its Sunday clash with Richmond, calling upon the strength of forward Aidan Johnson to bolster the side.

Johnson comes in to replace dynamic forward Bayley Fritsch, who dislocated his finger during last week's win over Hawthorn in Tasmania.

The Dees are set to face the Tigers in a Kids Takeover at the MCG, the opening ball-up scheduled for 3:15pm. All the family fun action will kick-off from 1pm between Gates 2 and 3. Check out the full game guide here.See below for the updated team below.

CARLTON has named a change to its 23 for Saturday night’s clash with Hawthorn.

Flynn Riley will make his AFL debut, becoming the Blues’ sixth AFL debutant of the campaign.

Formerly of the Carlton Reserves, it’s been quite the rise for Riley, who was recruited to the Blues in the mid-season draft.

206cm ruck Flynn Riley will join the AFL list after being drafted with pick No.4 in the Mid-season draft.

Geelong star Jeremy Cameron has been taken to hospital as GWS produced a stunning 13-point comeback over the Cats in a night of on-field carnage for both teams.

After a surprise cameo in defence, Cameron hurt his left collarbone in a heavy fourth-quarter collision with GWS star Clayton Oliver as the Giants secured a 12.14 (86) to 11.7 (73) victory at Engie Stadium on Saturday.

The Giants trailed by a game-high 39 points in the third quarter before slamming through six unanswered goals, with Callum Brown kicking the decisive major.

Leading all afternoon until Brown’s goal, the Cats were hanging by a thread after Cameron, Tanner Bruhn and Jack Henry went down with injuries.

Eddie Nketia to make Australia debut after Commonwealth Games sprint selection

Australian sprint sensation Eddie Nketia is talking up his potential to run even faster at the Commonwealth Games after a succession of eye-catching times.

Nketia will make his Australian debut in Glasgow after switching allegiance late last year from New Zealand. He is one of the headline names in the 86-athlete track and field team named on Monday.

The 25-year-old’s performances in the last few months have featured a wind-assisted 9.74 seconds for the blue-riband 100m. The Commonwealth Games record is Usain Bolt’s 9.88 seconds, set at Glasgow in 2014. Bolt set the world record of 9.58 in 2009.

Asked at the team announcement if he can run faster, Nketia replied: “I would love to – I want to run as fast as I can. If we can get a 9.6, we get a 9.6, if we can get the world record, we get the world record. But it’s just going to start from execution.”

Kennedy looks for sprint double as Comm Games athletics team revealed

Lachlan Kennedy will try to complete the sprint double at next month's Glasgow Commonwealth Games after nominating for the 100m and 200m on his Commonwealth Games debut.

Kennedy, the national champion in the 100m and the first Australian to dip under 10 seconds on home soil, did not contest the 200m at the Australian Athletics Championships in April.

But with national 200m record holder Gout Gout opting to miss the Glasgow Games to focus on the Under-20 world championships in August, 22-year-old Kennedy has added it to his slate, having beaten Gout over the distance in a blockbuster clash at the Maurie Plant Meet in March.

Race Around the World: meet the cast

The rules are simple: six filmmakers (William, Mikaela, Jayden, Elliot, Kate and Lucinda) travel solo through 10 different countries and deliver a new short film (2.5 minutes to 4 minutes in length) every 10 days, over a period of 100 days. Working entirely alone, they shoot, write, edit and produce each film from start to finish, before sharing it with a live studio audience back home.

Zan Rowe hosts the series, with John Safran serving as the lead judge in each episode, joined in the live studio recording by two industry pros.

Each filmmaker, from wherever they are in the world, will introduce their film, before the three judges review, rank, and score their work.

NSW have received a painful injury update with Latrell Mitchell's chances of featuring in State of Origin II now hanging by a thread.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the centre had been expected to return for South Sydney against Manly in Round 14, but Mitchell is understood to be at long odds to take the field.
