New Zealand’s squad for the three-match ODI series in India is a blend of Indian Premier League (IPL) regulars and international rookies. Unsurprisingly, captain Michael Bracewell is banking on the experience of the former to help the newcomers cope with the pressure of playing in front of packed Indian crowds.
“We’re used to playing in front of much smaller crowds in New Zealand, particularly in domestic cricket,†Bracewell said on the eve of the series opener at the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium.
