DALLAS — — Victor Wembanyama had 29 points and 11 rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs overcame rookie No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg's fourth consecutive 30-point game in a 135-123 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night.
Flagg scored 32 points to extend his NBA record for consecutive games with at least 30 points by a teenager. The 19-year-old joined Michael Jordan, Bernard King, Allen Iverson and Jalen Green as the only rookies to score at least 30 in four straight games since the NBA-ABA merger in 1976-77.
Dallas lost all four games and is on a six-game losing streak, its longest of the season.
Harrison Barnes was another of seven San Antonio players in double figures with 19 points, and De'Aaron Fox scored 17 points while pushing through a rough shooting night with two clutch 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. The second came on Wembanyama's sixth assist and gave the Spurs a 131-123 lead with 1:24 remaining.

Flagg produced 32 points, six rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and two steals in a 135-123 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He went 14-of-27 from the field, including 2-of-5 from 3-point range, in 38 minutes, 32 seconds of work.
The No. 1 overall pick joined Bernard King, Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson and Jalen Green as the only rookies since the merger to record at least 30 points in four or more straight games. He is the youngest player in history to accomplish that feat (19 years, 46 days).

Cooper Flagg finished with 32 points (14-27 FG, 2-5 3PT, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals in Thursday's loss to the Spurs.
Flagg just continues to light up the scoreboard, as Thursday's 32 are actually the lowest total in his last four games. In that span, the star rookie has averaged a ridiculous 37.8 points per game to go with 9.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.8 blocks.
