Brighton halted a six-game winless run in the Premier League with an impressive victory over Brentford to ease the pressure on manager Fabian Hurzeler.
The Seagulls had failed to find the net since a 1-1 draw with Everton on 31st January but they were the better side at the Gtech Community Stadium and deservedly took a two-goal lead into half-time.

Solly March is back in contention for Brighton & Hove Albion after knee injuries which have restricted him to 20 appearances in two-and-a-half seasons.
The versatile 31-year-old has resumed full training and is under consideration to be involved in Saturday’s trip to Brentford.
“Solly might be in the squad,” head coach Fabian Hurzeler said during his press briefing on Friday for the Brentford game. “He trained fully this week with the team. He made a good impression and he could be an option.”
March made ten appearances in the 2024-25 season before he was ruled out from April onwards. He was also limited to ten games in 2023-24 after a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament at Manchester City in October 2023 sidelined him for 14 months.
