Harmanpreet stays off the field after picking up knee injury

Harmanpreet Kaur has picked up an injury and couldn't go out to field during India's defence of their 214 against Australia in the first ODI at Brisbane's Allan Border Field on Tuesday.
A BCCI media statement after India's innings, where Harmanpreet scored a half-century, said she had "sustaining an injury to her left knee while batting" and the medical team "is monitoring her progress". Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana led India in Harmanpreet's absence.
It was not clear when Harmanpreet picked up the injury, but she did receive some on-field treatment at the end of the 38th over of India's innings, when she was on 40 from 67 balls. She continued till the 44th over before falling for 53 off 84 balls, having put up a 53-run stand in 61 balls with Kashvee Gautam, who scored 43 in 44 balls before becoming the last batter out.

Team India's batting woes continued in the first Women's ODI of the three-match series against Australia.
Despite half-centuries from Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana, the Women in Blue were bowled out for a mere 214 runs in 48.3 overs at Brisbane's Allan Border Field on Tuesday.
While Mandhana did well in the first half of the innings, Kaur batted well with the lower order to power her team past 200.

Kaur arrived at five as her 48-run stand with Mandhana (58) took the team past 100.
The former further added 37 runs with Richa Ghosh (23) before being involved in a vital 57-run partnership with Kashvee Gautam (43).
Kaur eventually went down as the seventh batter as India finished at 214/10.
