Our One-Day Cup team of the 2025-26 season

Ahead of this week's final in Hobart between Tasmania and NSW, we've picked our best XI from the men's 50-over domestic season

Another strong 50-over campaign for the left-hander, who replicated his domestic success abroad when he hit consecutive half-centuries for Australia A in the one-day component of their tour of India in October. Including those matches, Harvey has been dismissed for under 30 just once in 10 List A innings since September. Add his world-class fielding into the mix and Harvey has emerged as one of the competition's leading prospects.

Out of the shadow of Josh Inglis, Western Australia's back-up 'keeper has shown his dynamism opening the batting this season. The left-hander kicked off his campaign with a blazing 116 against Queensland and then finished his season with three consecutive half-centuries. Curtis takes the gloves in this team over Sam Harper having claimed the most dismissals in this year's competition.

Tigers One Day Cup Final Squad Release vs NSW

The Tasmanian Tigers return to One-Day Cup action tomorrow against New South Wales, with the opportunity to lift the Dean Jones Trophy for the first time since the 2009-10 season, when Tasmania defeated Victoria at the MCG.

Hosting the game at Ninja Stadium, the Tigers are excited to hold the final in front of what will hopefully be a big Tasmanian crowd in this Day-Night fixture.

After losing their last two matches of the 50-over season – one of which was to their opponents, NSW, Tasmania will be aiming to lift the trophy tomorrow night and finish their white-ball season on a high.

Blues squad named for One-Day Cup Final

The NSW Blues will welcome back two international stars for their pursuit of a 13th One-Day Cup title in Wednesday’s Final against Tasmania at Bellerive Oval.

Sean Abbott and Ben Dwarshuis will both return to the NSW side, bolstering the core group that secured four regular season wins on the road to the Final.

Regular Blues skipper Jack Edwards remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Kurtis Patterson, the competition’s leading batter with 513 runs at an average of 102.60, will once again captain the side.

The squad also features three bowlers inside the top 10 wicket-takers for the season, led by leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha, whose 18 wickets at 18.05 apiece is three clear of his nearest rival.
