Star Fox Has Been Revealed And It’s A Star Fox 64 Remake

It’s been rumoured and today Nintendo out of absolutely nowhere announced Star Fox, a brand new game coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25th that is a remake of Star Fox 64.
The game obviously has brand new graphics, totally re-done cutscenes and voice acting and the characters were described as having a new design that is more animal-like.
The core game itself is quite faithful to the original but there’s a bunch of new modes including a battle mode, a new co-op mode where one person controls the Arwing and the other controls shooting. You’ll also be able to use a Nintendo 64 controller to play the game as well which will result in a more faithful experience.
Nintendo’s new Star Fox game has virtual charcter avatars.
When using GameChat, you can appear as an interactive avatar “that mirrors your expressions and movements,” Nintendo says. There are also AR filters that let you add “a pair of Star Fox-like ears or a Falco-inspired beak that moves when you talk.”
