Mr Sterle told Ms McKenzie “I’ll cut you up” during a debate before backtracking and insisting he meant the comment “metaphorically”.
He then describeed Ms McKenzie as an “ignoramus” and asked to swap seats with another minister so he could sit beside the Nationals Senator and “educate” her about trucking.
