“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz had a mini reunion at the Emmys and presented at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles Monday night.
“A teenage girl chosen by fate to fight vampires, demons and forces of darkness, and then she falls in love with a vampire with a soul carrying around a couple hundred years of regret,” Gellar said. “A much, much older vampire with a soul and agonizing remorse about his past. For those of you who don’t know, his character was 241 years old.”
She also pointedly said that audiences will never know how Buffy and Angel’s love story will end, a terse nod to the pilot of a sequel series that was announced to not have been picked up earlier this year.
