Just when it appeared that the XBOX Tokyo Game Show 2026 Broadcast had come to a close, legendary game creator Hideo Kojima arrived with one more surprise: fresh updates on OD – KNOCK and PHYSINT, including the news that Swedish actor and producer Bill Skarsgård will portray the lead role in PHYSINT, the upcoming action-espionage game from KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS.
Kojima-san also shared a new poster for the title featuring a photo he personally shot of Skarsgård alongside Charlee Fraser, offering a fresh glimpse at the talent helping bring this ambitious project to life.
BILL SKARSGÅRD CONFIRMED AS THE LEAD ROLE IN PHYSINT
17th September, 2026 – KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS today confirmed that Bill Skarsgård will portray the lead role in PHYSINT as well as unveiled a new poster featuring Skarsgård and Charlee Fraser. The studio also recently confirmed that PHYSINT will have a new publishing partner, XBOX. Both companies are already collaborating successfully on OD – KNOCK and adding PHYSINT further strengthens their relationship and shared commitment to building great games together. Both KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS and XBOX are excited about this collaboration and are looking forward to bringing PHYSINT to players worldwide.
